A sneaky Peek at a Card for Imagination Craft's Debut show on the Hochanda TV Channel.

Good evening, well it has been another glorious day here  today, long may it last!!!    I  thought I'd write up my blog, whilst  Hubby is watching the football match,  I'm afraid football is not one of my interests lol!   I'd just like to welcome my newest Follower.   Many thanks for following my   blog and I hope you enjoy your visits.

Hope you've all had a good day.   Our grandson is back in the school routine again, as are we lol!   he is in a higher class now and is feeling quite grown up bless him.   Well, all my samples for the Hochanda show have arrived at Imagination Crafts safe and sound, ready for the show on Thursday 10th September at 1pm and again at 5pm. cannot wait to tune in, very exciting lol!

The card I am sharing with you tonight has a rather Victorian feel to it, I do hope you like it.

Begin by folding the white base card down the centre crease line, making a 7" x 7" base card.   Stanp the holly corner stamp  in the top right and bottom left corners, using a black ink pad.

Matt a smaller piece of black card onto the base card, leaving a border of half and inch of the white card showing.

Take a smaller piece of white linen card and  colour with distress inks.   Lay the stencil on top and using a piece of cut n ' dry foam, dab the Starlight paints through the design.   Remove the stencil.

Stamp 'Happy Christmas' near the centre top of the card, using a black ink pad.   Punch out some holly leaves from black card and some berries from white card.   Colour the berries with red Starlight paint and glue them to the top of the post box and the lamp.

Add some Platinum and Antique Gold Starlight Paints to the lamp where the light would be shining.   Cut out two notice boards to fit on the post box.  Add some days etc.,   on one and a last  posting time on the other, using a black pen, then colour with distress inks and glue to the post box.     Cut out a envelope  from white card, colour it as for the post box times and add a stamp and write on  'To Santa Claus' then glue to the boy's hand.

Add some polar white Flower soft to the top of the post box, lamp and snow in the foreground.

Punch out six small circles and paint with  red and orange oxide Starlight paints, then glue three to each side of the base card, on the white card.

The card is now finished.   The beautiful metallic sheen of these Starlight paints,  unfortunately do not show up very well on the photographs.     Have a great Wednesday and I'll be back again tomorrow evening with another sneaky peek,  until then. take care of yourselves.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                              Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
