Another sneaky peek at creation for Imagination Craft's TV show on Hochanda .

Good evening Fellow Bloggers, Friends and Visitors,

Not such a good day today weather wise.  No rain but quite dull and not so warm, ah well can't have sunshine every day lol!   Tonight I have another sneaky peek at one of my creations for Imagination Craft's debut on the new craft channel, Hochanda tomorrow.    This is another mdf tea light, a really very pretty design, I just adore this one, as I love deer.   Thank you for stopping by my blog last night and thank you so much if you left me a comment.

Begin by painting all five parts of the mdf tea light kit with 2 coats of the Chalk white mdf paint, except the tabs and make sure no paint gets into the slots, or the tabs may not fit into the slots..

Paint the deer, leaves, grass and the squirrel with the white gold Starlight paint.   Stamp the swirl stamp into some of the gold paint and stamp onto the deer's body to add a little texture.

Take the Art Cutz Morroccan Trellis and cut ii to fit the insides of the  two solid sides.  Paint them with the White gold Starlight paint.   Glue these to the insides of the two solid side pieces.

For the outsides of the solid sides, I used some white rubber strip taken from a roll of material that is put underneath rugs, to stop them slipping on  wooden floors.   I looked at it and thought, I could use that for my crafting lol!   So I began by cutting two strips which would fit the sides.   I then painted them with the White gold Starlight paint.   When they were was dry,  I glued them to the outsides of the solid sides.

Take 10 silk  ivy leaves (five for each side) and paint them with the white gold paint and leave to dry.   Glue these to each side of the tea light.

Paint two Art Cutz flourishes with the white mdf paint and glue to the centres of the ivy leaves on each side.

All that remains to be done is to add a tea light to the inside,  (I use a wax candle which has a battery so there is no chance of a fire )    sit back and enjoy the flickering candle light.

Hope you like this tea light.   Please don't forget to tune in to Hochanda  tomorrow (Thursday) at 1pm and again at 5pm to see our lovely Sue demonstrating some great techniques.   These beautiful mdf tea light kits will be available to buy, so get your order in quick, as I really do not think they will last long  lol!!   There will be more beautiful colours of Starlight paints available too!    If you are not able to tune in tomorrow, please remember to set your recorders so you can watch the shows at your leisure.   I'll   be back again soon with another creation to share with you.    You can watch via Sky 663      Freeview 39.   Freesat 822 and on the Hochanda website   www.hochanda.com

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                              Big Hugs   Jennifer xx.
