Poppies and Fairy Dust.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Thanks for stopping by my blog once again and  I would also like to welcome my newest follower,  I do hope you all enjoy your visit.   I would love to hear your thoughts on my creations and if you leave me a comment I will try and reciprocate by visiting your blog.   I read each and every comment and I do try to reply to each one.    Wow! such a sudden change in the weather here lol!   it was so mild a day ago and now it has turned bitterly cold   brrr....   definitely log burner time lol!   We've not had any snow as of now but it certainly is cold enough for some !!

My card tonight was made in June 2014.   For this I have used Imagination Craft's stencils and my favourite product of theirs -  Sparkle Medium.   The fairy and orchids were stamped using a set of stamps which came free with one of the craft magazines some time ago and I believe, is a Lavinia stamps design.   I adore all of Tracey Dutton's stamps, as those of you who know me, know that I love anything to do with fairies lol!

Make a base card from black card.   Matt a smaller piece of red card onto the black.   Trim another piece of black card slightly smaller than the red.   Lay the daisy stencil onto the black card, masking off the oval and spread the Chartreuse Sparkle Medium over the four corners only,  using a metal spatula.

Remove the stencil and leave the images to dry.

Mask off the dragonflies on the poppy stencil as we only want the poppies.   Lay the stencil onto a piece of white card and rub the distress inks through the design, using a piece of cut ' n' dry foam

Stamp the fairy onto the card, using a black ink pad.   Stamp some sprinkles from her hand and some
leaves/flowers at the top of the card.

Cut out using the Spellbinder's label die and glue the finished image to the centre of the base card.   Dab a little Sparkle Medium to her wings and to  the sprinkles of fairy dust.

Well that's all from me tonight my friends, I do hope you all have a relaxing, peaceful Sunday.   Take good care of yourselves and stay warm and snug and I will be back very soon.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.
