Splashing out for your Birthday.

Good evening Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Well it is time again for me to share another project with you.   Here we are, into October already!  where has this year gone!    There are Christmas goodies in the shops already lol!  It will be here before we know it.   Thank you for your visits and comments on my last post, I do love to read your lovely comment, very much appreciated by me and they spurr me on to create more lol!  O.k., onto to tonight's card.   This was made using a  stamp and die set, given free with  Issue 158 of Papercraft Essentials craft magazine.   This is just such a cute set,  I love it, hope you like what I have done with them.

Make a square white card as your base card.   Die-cut a scalloped square from black card and keep the die-cut for another project.   Keep the negative from this and glue to the base card.

Colour a piece of white card with the Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks, by putting the ink pads down onto a work mat, then spritz with water.   Lay the white  card on top of the inks, then lift up and leave to dry.  From this, die-cut a smaller scalloped square.   Stamp the reeds along the bottom using black ink, then glue this to the centre of the black scalloped square.

From the left-over blue card, die-cut some raindrops, then glue these to the blue square, plus some around the puddles.

Stamp the duck twice onto white card and colour with the Promarker pens.   Glue the negative from the puddle die-cut, just below the blue square on the left and the main die-cut  puddle, just below the black frame on the bottom right.

Cut out the duck and glue him to the negative puddle using silicone glue.   Cut out the wing from the second image and glue to the original image, again using silicone glue.

Using a black ink pad, stamp the speech bubble onto white card, cut out and glue to the card front.

Stamp the wellingtons twice, colour and cut out.   3D. them and fix to the bottom right corner on top of the main die-cut puddle.

Stamp the greeting in the bottom left of the base card, using a black ink pad.

Glue some splashes just outside the black frame on the bottom left and right and the card is finished.

That's all from me for now my friends, enjoy the rest of your week.   I will as usual,  be back soon with another project.   In the meanwhile, be happy  and of course - Happy Crafting.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.
