Thank you for stopping by my last blog post, hope you enjoyed your visit. I do hope you are managing to steer clear of these nasty bugs which are doing the rounds. Tonight I would like to share another of my cards which was made for the Sue Baker Presents shows on the Create & Craft Channel on the 6th. of December 2019. This was made using stamps, stencils, rice paper, structure paste, Cadence paints and Artsy stones.
Take a section of rice paper, wet it with a paint brush and water and gently tear apart. On a six and a half inch piece of white card, paint a section of the card from top to bottom with the Champagne metallic paint. Using the fabric decoupage glue, fix the rice paper to the square of white card.
When dry, stamp the 'In a world'......sentiment at the top of the Champagne painted section, using a black ink pad.
the design, using a metal spatula. Leave to dry. Lay the spider's web across the top right corner and spread the structure paste through the design and leave to dry.
Add some watered down Champagne paint to the 2 keys in the bottom right corner.
Add some structure paste to the top right corner using a metal spatula and whilst still wet, add some Artsy Stones onto it. When dry, rub some Orchid finger wax over the surface of the stones, followed by a little purple Twinkle and Sparkle. Add some Orchid finger wax to all four edges of this card, to draw the eye to the centre of the card.
Fix this card to a 7"x7" white base card.
Colour some spare white card with the copper, sapphire, Iris and Champagne paints.
From this Stamp out 1 large dragonfly, 2 butterflies and 3 bees using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with black embossing powder.
,
Cut out and glue these onto the base card using silicone glue. Stamp 3 ladybirds onto the bottom of the card using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with black powder. Stamp them again onto some white card using a black Versafine pad. Cut out the body and head only, of each ladybird and glue to the original images. Paint with the blood red paint.
Glue the butterflies, bees and dragonfly in position using silicone glue.
The card is now finished, I do hope you like it. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be back soon. Take care of yourselves until then.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
