Hello Lovelies,
thought I'd just pop back with another Christmas card. A dear friend of mine gave me this beautiful set of Thinlits deer dies by Sizzix and the very pretty border die - 'Vintage Winter' by Amy Design. The 'Merry Christmas' wreath die was given free with Cards & Papercraft Magazine some time ago and is by Crafter's Companion.
Make a base card five and three quarter inches by five and three quarter inches from white card stock. Cut a piece of navy blue card five and a quarter inches square and matt and layer this onto the white base card.
Die-cut the 'Vintage Winter' design from white card. Cut away the hanging snowflakes, leaving what looks like a snowy hillside. Glue this to the bottom of the navy blue card on the base card.
Die-cut the four deer from the Sizzix die collection, from white card. Glue the deer in position on the snowy hillside using tacky glue, keeping the largest deer back, then glue him to the base of the navy blue card as he is the nearest and will be larger, using silicone glue, to give the design some dimension,
Die-cut the 'Merry Christmas' wreath from white card and glue it to the top left corner of the navy card.
Glue the negative snowflakes (left over after die-cutting the Vintage Winter image), to the navy blue background. Below are a few close up photos.
Thank you once again for visiting my blog, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit. I will be back soon with another of my Christmas cards, until then take good care of yourselves.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
