'Santa's On His Way.'

Hi there Lovelies,  hope you all had a lovely Christmas,

I thought I would share one last  Christmas card of the season with you.    This was made using a really lovely die, which was given free with issue 29 of the 'Die Cutting Essentials' magazine, the holly stamp I already had in my craft stash.   The 'present' stamp, patterned paper and star dies  were given free with the 'Sentimentally Yours' premium magazine - Phil Martin.      The 'trailing ivy'  dies are by Creative Expressions - finishing touches.   I have named this card  'Santa's  On His Way'   but, as we all know he has been and gone and if you  were good during this year, he has hopefully been down your chimney this Christmas lol!!     Hope you like this card,

Matt and layer a five and a half inch square of navy blue card onto the front of a 7" square white base card.

From some white card, die-cut the main Christmas scene, then matt and layer this onto s slightly larger piece of silver mirror card, then matt this onto the navy square.

From some cream card, die-cut 2 pieces of ivy and colour them using Promarker alcohol pens.

Fix these to the top left-hand corner of the navy card, using silicone glue.

Using the black ink pad, stamp the holly onto some white card and colour with the alcohol pens.   Gently shape the leaves and glue this on top of the ivy again, using silicone glue to add some dimension to the card.

Stamp a Christmas present onto white card and another onto a small piece of patterned paper using a black ink pad.   Colour the white one and the ribbon only, of the patterned one with alcohol pens.   Glue the patterned present onto a piece of card to strengthen it a little.   Cut them both out and fix to the bottom right corner, using sticky pads or silicone glue.

Lastly, die-cut 4 large and 4 small stars from navy card and glue one of each in each corner of the white base card and this card is finished.   Hope you like it, maybe you might want to start making cards for next Christmass lol !!

Have a Very Happy, Prosperous but above all,  a Very Healthy New Year..   Here's to 2023.

Take care of yourselves, catch you again in the New Year.   Thank you for all your lovely comments and visits, they mean a lot.

                                                                     Love and rainbows,

                                                                     Hugs   Jennifer xx.
