'Spread a Little Sunshine.'

Good evening Lovelies,

Hope you all had a good weekend.   Thank you as always, for your visits and comments on my last blog post.   I would like to bring a little sunshine into your lives with a card I have made for the Sue Baker shows, tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8am. and 5pm.  on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel   I have used products from the 'Modernista Collection' by Sue Baker and  mixed media spray inks  by Cadence.

Take a piece of black card, cut it slightly smaller than the white 7" x 7" base card.   Stamp the text in the top left and the bottom right corners using a Versamark pad.   Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Fix this to the white base card.

Stamp the sentiment onto a spare piece of white card using a black inkpad.   Next stamp the 'random circles', keeping the sentiment in the centre of the circles.   Trim around the circles and fix this in
position in the top right corner.

Stamp the sunflower six times using a black ink pad onto some white card.

Paint them with the sunshine yellow, brown and green mixed media spray inks, water and paintbrush.   When dry, cut them out and 3D them, using silicone glue.

Arrange on the front of the base card and when you are satisfied with the positioning, glue them in place.

Well that's all from me for the moment.   Please don't forget to tune in to Create & Craft on 21st. Jan. 2020 at 8am. & 5pm. to see this fabulous new collection of stamps, dies, stencils and rice papers, plus many more fabulous Cadence products.   I'll be back again soon, enjoy your week.

'Share Your Smile.'

 Hi there Lovelies,

Wishing you all a Very Healthy, Happy and Prosperous 2020.   Hope you enjoyed your festive season.   Thank you for visiting my last blog post, much appreciated.   Today I would like to share a card I made for the the Sue Baker Presents shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel, I think it was August 2019.   This was made using the beautiful  'Birds & Blossoms' Collection.   I thought I would make the background using some brown kraft card, just for a change and I was quite pleased with the way it turned out, hope you like it too.

Cut out a square five and three quarter inches  from an A4 piece of brown kraft card. and stamp  the' bird on the circle' in the top left, using a black inkpad.     Stamp the hanging 'Love' in the top right corner, the 'Share your smile' sentiment in the bottom right and finally, the word 'Smile' inside the circle.   Matt the kraft card onto a slightly larger piece of black card.

Using some white card and a black inkpad, stamp the single bird stamp 3 times.   Cut out and 3D these, then glue to the original stamped image on the kraft card, using silicone glue.

Stamp the 2 flowers using a Versamark pad onto black card and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Colour the flowers with the Blue Rose metallic paint, (this shows up as blue on the black card).   Paint the leaf with the Green Blue  paint.   Glue the flowers to the original images.

Colour a small piece of black card with the Green Blue paint and when dry, stamp the 2 leaves to the right of the flower onto it using  a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.

Cut out the 2 leaves and glue in position over the original stamped images.

Add some dots around the circle using a white pen.   Colour the bow, hearts, butterflies and  3 small flowers also, with the white pen.

Glue 3 white glitter domes just above the sentiment.   Matt the card onto a 7" x 7" white base card.   The card is now finished.

Thanks again for taking the time to stop and visit my blog.  Have a good week and I'll be back quite soon, now I'm back into routine lol!   Take good care of yourselves.

                                                                 Love & Rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'Nature's Creations.'

Hello Lovelies,

Thank you for stopping by my last blog post, hope you enjoyed your visit.   I do hope you are managing to steer clear of these nasty bugs which are doing the rounds.   Tonight I would like to  share another of my cards which was made for the Sue Baker Presents shows on the Create & Craft Channel on the 6th. of December 2019.   This was made using stamps, stencils, rice paper, structure paste, Cadence paints and Artsy stones.

Take a section of rice paper, wet it with a paint brush and water and gently tear apart.   On a  six and a half inch piece of white card, paint a section of the card from top to bottom with the Champagne metallic paint.   Using the fabric decoupage glue, fix the rice paper to the square of white card.

When dry, stamp the 'In a world'......sentiment at the top of the Champagne painted section, using a black ink pad.

Lay the cow parsley design from the stencil onto the card and spread the white structure paste over
the design, using a metal spatula.   Leave to dry.   Lay the spider's web across the top right corner and spread the structure paste through the design and leave to dry.

Add some watered down Champagne paint to the 2 keys in the bottom right corner.

Add some structure paste to the top right corner using a metal spatula and whilst still wet, add some Artsy Stones onto it.   When dry, rub some  Orchid finger wax over the surface of the stones, followed by a little purple Twinkle and Sparkle.    Add some Orchid finger wax to all four edges of this card, to draw the eye to the centre of the card.

Fix this card to a 7"x7" white base card.

Colour some spare white card with the copper, sapphire, Iris and Champagne paints.

From this Stamp out 1 large dragonfly, 2 butterflies and 3 bees using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with black embossing powder.
,

Cut out and glue these onto the base card using silicone glue.   Stamp 3 ladybirds onto the bottom of the card using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with black powder.   Stamp them again onto some white card using a black Versafine pad.   Cut out the body and head only,  of each ladybird and glue to the original images.   Paint with the blood red paint.

Glue the butterflies, bees and dragonfly in position using silicone glue.

The card is now finished, I do hope you like it.   Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be back soon.   Take care of yourselves until then.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'You are Braver than you think.'

Good evening Friends, Followers and Visitors,
Hope you are managing to keep warm during this cold spell of weather.   Thank you for your visits to my last blog post, hope you enjoyed your visit.   Tonight I would like to share a card I made for the 'Sue Baker Presents' shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel tomorrow,  Friday  6th. December 2019, launching at 8am.  and again at 2pm.   Hope you can tune in, as this is a stunning collection called 'The Secret Garden.'    I know you will just love this as much as I do,  o.k. here is a sneaky peak of my card, hope you like it.

Using a black inkpad, stamp the word 'Believe' in the top left corner of a 7"x7" white base card.

Stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner.

Die-cut a 6" circle from brown card and glue to the centre of the base card.   Next die-cut  a five and a half inch circle from white card and colour this with the shabby shutters, peeled paint, fired brick and fossilized amber distress inks, using a blending tool, adding a bit more fired brick around the edge on the top half and a darker green to the bottom half edges.   Matt this onto the brown circle on the white base card.

Stamp the deer image onto the coloured circle using a black inkpad.   Take some spare white card and stamp the deer image a further 4 times.   Colour these images using the Cadence dark gold and champagne  Hybrid Metallic paints.   In this photo the deer look as though they are painted with different colours but they are the same, it is the way the light is shining on them.

Cut out and 3D the image using silicone glue, then glue the 3D image to the original stamped image on the circle.

Stamp the cornflower onto spare white card 4 times using black ink.   Colour these with watered  down  Cadence clover green and ultramarine blue  Hybrid acrylic paints and die-cut them, using the die from the collection.

Arrange the cornflowers around the base of the deer and glue in position.

Die-cut 3 bees using the bee die from the collection, then using the bee stamp which matches the bee die-cut, stamp the image on top using a black inkpad.

Colour the bees with yellow and orange fine liner pens.   Colour the wings with well watered down ultramarine blue acrylic paint.   Glue these to the card front.

That's my card finished, I do hope you like it, I have loved working with this whole collection, especially the deer, as I adore deer........I think that love stems from the film  'Bambi' which I saw many times as a child lol!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you've enjoyed your visit.   Please pop back again, as I will be sharing more of my cards from this collection.

Please remember to tune in to the Create & Craft  T.V. Channel on Friday 6th. December at 8am and 2pm to see demonstrations by our lovely Sue Baker.    Take care of yourselves until my next blog post.

                                                               Love & rainbows,
                                                               Hugs   Jennifer xx.
