Butterflies and Crocuses. My Mid May Inspiration Piece for The Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog.

Good morning Lovelies,

Hope all is well with you,  weekend is not long away now.   Hasn't the weather been glorious, blue skies, white fluffy clouds, warm breeze and fabulous sunshine.   Seems set for the rest of the week, so enjoy whilst you can.
Well here we are again, it's time for my mid month inspiration for  the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog for May and the theme is 'Things with Wings.'  hope you like it.

Make a base card from white card stock.   Onto this, matt a smaller piece of blue paper.   Take a  piece of white paper, smaller than the blue.   Spread the blue and green Silkies onto the Gelli Plate using a brayer.   Stamp the main crocus image over the silkies then lay the piece of white paper over the Gelli Plate and brayer across the paper,  remove the paper and leave to dry.   This is your background.   Fix this to the blue paper on the base card.

Using the corner stamp from the crocus set, stamp one in each corner using a Versamark Pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Take another piece of white card and stamp the main image onto it using a Versmark Pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder as before.   Colour this stamped image with the silkies.   Trim around the outer edge of the image and fix to the base card.

Using the butterfly decoupage stamp set, stamp one large, one medium and three small butterflies, again using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with gold powder.   Colout the butterflies with the red from the Pearly Paint Palette and fussy cut them.

Matt the medium butterfly onto the large one and glue to the bottom right of the card.   Glue the three small butterflies near to the top of the card.   That's it folks hope you like it and that you will join us over at the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog, where you could win a voucher worth £40 to spend on Imagination Crafts products.      To be in with a chance of winning the £40 you must use Imagination Craft's products. so why not give it a go !!   Why not pop over to see what fabulous projects my teamies have made, so much inspiration for you.   We look forward to seeing your creations.   Just remember, someone has to win !  it could be you lol !

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some lovely comments.   Take care until I blog again.

                                                              Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.

    1. Good afternoon Avril Hun, thanks for leaviing this lovely comment, much appreciated. I've just left you a comment too! on your blog. The background colours are a bit like the colour of the sea I have to agree, I mixed the blue and green Silkies together and that's how I arrived at this colour.
