Flight of Fancy.

Good evening my lovelies,

Hope your week is going well and you are happy,  if not, here is a big hug.   The card I have for you tonight was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts   in June 2012 and uses their lovely Heart Swirl Border Stencil and the beautiful Dragonflies Decoupage Stamp set, along with my favourite Imagination Craft;s product,  Sage Green and Lavender Sparkle Medium.   OK off we go then !

Make a base card from green card stock and onto this matt some white card,   Take another piece of  white card and mix some mica powders with water and using a sponge, dab them all over the card..   When dry, lay the stencil on top and spread some of the sage green  and lavender sparkle  medium over the stencil.   Remove stencil, when dry tie the lilac ribbon down the left-hand edge of the card and secure on the back of the reverse.   Tie into a bow.   Glue the green flower gem to the centre of the bow and glue a small lilac gem to the centre of the flower gem, using Magi-Glue.   Glue three small gems to the top and three to the right of the central rectangle.   Fix this to the base card.

Take some acetate and using the Versamark pad and the dragonfly stamp,   stamp onto the acetate and heat emboss using the heat gun and the purple embossing powder.   Cut out the largest dragonfly and colour with the mica powders.   Fix to the rectangle in the centre of the card, using silicone glue.

Next, cut out the second smallest Spellbinder's label from white card using the die and die-cutting machine.   Colour the edges with mica powder.   Stamp 'make a wish' in the centre with Versamark and heat emboss with purple embossing powder.   Draw around the outside edge of the label die, onto green card and cut out.   Fix the stamped tag onto the slightly larger green tag using sticky foam pads and fix to the bottom right of the base card.   Well that's it folks hopee you like it.   Unfortunately the lovely glitter of the sparkle medium and the beautiful sheen from the mica powders don't show up very well on this photograph.   Thank yo so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave such lovely comments,   I appreciate and answer every one.

Have fun and take good care of yourselves and your loved ones, see you again in a few days.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                Big Hugs   Jennifer xx
