Cottage in the snow.

Hi there my Lovelies,

Hope you are all having a great weekend.   The weather here the last two days has been glorious, so warm and sunny.   Tonight I have a Christmas card to share with you, which I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's.   in October  2013.

The base card is made from brown card, then a piece of white card was matted onto the brown, then some orange card onto the white.

Stamp the sentiment and the small ivy leaf from the stamp set, in the bottom right corner with a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.

Colour a piece of white card with Distress inks and leave to dry.    Stamp the main image onto the card using a brown ink pad.   Colour with a white  highlighter pen.   Rub a very small amount of gold shine Sparkle Medium over the snow.   Matt this onto some white card, then onto some brown card,   each time leaving a small border showing.

Matt this image onto the top left of the base card.    Using the Marianne Design Poinsettia die,  cut out, emboss and colour the flowers.   Cut out and colour the leaves using the green colour from the Vintage Pearly Palette.   Glue the flowers to the base card.

Add a ribbon bow to the bottom right corner.

Well that's it my friends, hope you like it.   Take care of yourselves and enjoy what is left of the weekend.

                                                                 Love and Rainbows,

                                                              Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx

    1. So glad you like it Tracey. Many thanks for your nice comment. It is interesting to hear your thoughts. The colour I have used is not my usual but it seems to work ok. Just a bit different to the usual Christmas colours.
