I'm back to share another card with you all tonight. Hope you've all had a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend and a good day today. The weather has been very mixed here again. Never two days alike lol! Tonight's card was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts. and was made for the last Create and Craft TV. show on Thursday 21st. I have used Imagination Craft's newest shades of stencil paints, ' Lime green' and the gorgeous, rich ' Rose.'
Fold the white card in half alomg the crease line, making a 7"x7" square card. Die-cut ten corners using the Memory Box corner die from light green card. Cut a piece of light green card approximately six inches by five and three quarter inches and glue the corner die-cuts to the back of the card, making sure the die-cuts will not protrude beyond the edges of the white base card. Matt this onto the white base card.
Matt a smaller piece of purple card onto the green, leaving a small border of the green showing. Cut a piece of white paper, slightly smaller than the purple card and colour with Inkadinks diluted with water and a piece of cling film, pressed onto the painted paper and scrunched up in places. Leave until paint is dry. Remove the clingfilm which leaves a marbled effect on the painted paper.
Lay the 'carousel' stencil on top of the coloured paper and using stencil brushes, dab the rose and the lime green stencil paints through the design.
Highlight parts of the design with white Gesso. Remove stencil and leave image to dry. Matt this onto the base card using double sided sticky tape. That's it finished folks, a very quick and easy card to make. Thanks ever so much for visiting my blog and for your lovely comments, I really do appreciate each and every one. See you all again soon.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
