Dove of Peace.

Good evening Fellow Bloggers, Friends & Visitors,

Tonight's card is a Christmas card.   Some of you may have seen this card before a couple of years ago but I thought I  would show it again for those of you who may not have seen it at that time.    I have used an Imagination Crafts Christmas decoupage stamp set.   This is such a pretty stamp set  and 3d's beautifully.   I decided not to use the traditional Christmas colours for this card as I wanted it to have a light delicate look.

Make a base card from pink card stock    Matt some navy metallic card onto the pink, leaving a small border of the pink showing.   Take a piece of white card, again slightly smaller than the navy.   Stamp the words 'Joy & Peace' plus the olive branch using a Versamark pad, around the edges of the white card.   Heat emboss using silver embossing powder.

Fix this to the navy card.   Take another piece of white card and stamp the main image of the dove onto it, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with white embossing powder.

Using a paint brush,  a little water and the Chalkies, colour over the white embossing.   Stamp 'LOVE' onto the top of the dove image with Versamark and again, heat with silver powder.   Cut out the stamped image and matt onto a slightly larger piece of silver mirror card, then onto some navy card, leaving small borders each time.   Take more white card and stamp the main image a further four times, using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with silver powder.

Cut out and 3D the dove  and the branch and fix to the original image, using silicone glue.   Do the same with the smaller image of the dove but do not 3D this.   Fix it to the top of the main image  with a sticky foam pad.

Add four mosaics to the white border.   That's it folks, card finished.   Hope you're  well on with your Christmas card making,  I'm afraid it will  be mostly bought cards for me this year.   Just don't seem to have had enough time to settle down and get cracking!     well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it lol!    Thanks ever so much for stopping by my blog.   Catch you all again soon.   Take good care of yourselves.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                                 Big Hugs    Jennifer xx.
