Lavender and Jade, my Favourite Colour Combination.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Well, all the Christmas decorations are down now, packed away until next year, back to everyday life again lol!     I have to say it is nice to get back to routine again.    Have you made any New Year resolutions?   mine is to lose the weight I had lost before Christmas, so I have had the last of the open bottle of wine and the chocolate box is now empty!   a good time to start my diet lol.

I received my 'happy post' from Sue & Harvey of Imagination Crafts, whoopee!  fab new products.  Must get cracking, not much time until their next show on the Hochanda TV channel.   I'll let you know the times and dates soon and of course I will be showing you some 'sneaky peeks.'   OK onto tonight's card.

Fold the ready creased cream card down the centre, making a 7"x7" base card.   Lay part of the pattern from the stencil onto the first corner of the card, then dab evergreen bough & seedless preserves  distress inks through the design using some cut ' dry foam.     Next using another piece of cut n' dry foam, dab some of the blue Starlight paint over the distress inks.   Repeat this on all four corners and leave to dry.

Take the patterned card and lay the cleaned stencil onto it and spread the lavender and Jade Sparkle Medium over the whole design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

In the meantime, spread both the Sparkle Mediums over another piece of the patterned card, this time covering the centre of the design only, as we only need the centre, so saving Sparkle Medium (waste not, want not lol!)   Leave this to dry.   When dry, cut out the centre  and the outer  circles  separately.   Cut the outer circle in half and glue one half to the left-hand edge of the base card and the other to the right-hand side.

Matt a square of jade card to the centre of the base card, leaving the half circles showing.  Next matt a smaller piece of lavender card onto the jade, leaving a border of jade showing.   Next glue the patterned card with the design onto the base card in a diamond fashion, on top of the lavender card.

Take the cut-out centre piece and cut down to the centre, making petals.   Shape the petals and glue this to the centre of the main design using silicone glue,  giving some dimension to the card.

Well that's it folks, have a good week and I'll be back in a few days.   Many thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you've enjoyed your visit.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.
