A 'Sneaky Peek' at my Butterfly Canvas.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Wow! what a fabulous day it has been today, wall to wall sunshine, blue skies and not a cloud in the sky!   and so....lovely and warm.   At last I have planted up my window boxes and did a bit of tidying up in the garden.     I also managed a couple of hours in my craft room, making more tags for the challenge Sue has given me lol!    I will get there, just another one hundred or so lol!!   ha  ha.    Well, tonight I would like to share a 'sneaky peek' at one of my canvases I have made for Imagination Craft's show on the Hochanda T.V. Channel tomorrow (Sunday)  which will be filmed live from the Alexandra Palace  at 10am.

I have used two of the fabulous new large stencils, Fantasy Script Art stamp, Sparkle Mediums, Rusty Patina and  Mixed Media Spray inks to mention a few.   O.K. let's get started lol!

( 1)   The canvas was painted with Verdigris Rusty Patina, White gesso,  Soft Moss and Baltic Blue
MDF paints, then sprayed with the red, light purple and sunshine Mixed Media Spray Inks.

( 2)   Stencil Medium spread over the butterflies stencil, using the metal spatula.   Stencil removed
and the image left to dry.

( 3)   White Gesso dabbed through the Script stencil around the edges of the canvas.

( 4)   The Fantasy script stamped onto white card,  using a  black inkpad, then the background
coloured with distress inks.    The edges of the card rubbed with Black and Dark Orchid
Starlight waxes, then matted onto a slightly larger piece of black card.   This was then
glued to the centre of the canvas.

( 5)   Place the butterfly stencil onto a piece of black card and spread the Blackcurrant, Gold shine,
Diamond Quartz and Diamond Blue Sparkle Mediums over  the butterflies using the metal
spatula .   Remove the stencil and leave the images to dry.   Next trim around each butterfly
and glue in the correct positions, on top of the stencil medium images, around the fantasy
script, adding some silicone glue under the wings to lift them up a little.

( 6)   Colour some separate pieces of card, one with the red, one with the light purple and the third
with the sunshine Mixed Media Spray Inks.   From these, die-cut two large and one small
yellow flowers,   two large and one small light purple flowers and two large and one small red
flowers, using the Sizzix  flower die.

( 7)   Glue these to the fantasy script.   Well that's it finished.    I do hope you like it.

( 8)   Ooops lol! nearly forgot to say to rub the two waxes around the edges of the canvas.

Please don't forget to tune in to Hochanda T.V. at 10am. tomorrow (Sunday),  or better still, if
you live near Alexandra Palace, why don't you pop in and say 'hello' to Sue, she would love
to meet you, she will be demonstrating on the BJ Craft's stand, Imagination's main stockist, so
there will be lots of products for you to choose from.

Many thanks for stopping by my blog, I hope you have enjoyed your visit.   Have a wonderful
         Sunday and be happy!

                                                                    Love and rainbows,

                                                                      Hugs   Jennifer xx.
