Butterfly Time.

Good evening All,

Hope you have all enjoyed your Easter Break and that you haven't eaten too many chocolate eggs lol!
As I am trying to lose some weight, I have been very good, my eggs have not been touched yet lol!
My intention is to have a little every now and again!   we shall see how strong I am over the next few weeks lol!

My card tonight was made for Sue & Harvey of  Imagination Crafts and was made for their show on 9th. April 2017 but eveything sold out so quickly, Sue did not have time to show my cards lol!   I wasn't surprised at this, as these gorgeous new stencils are just great.    I have used one of these stencils for this card.   The butterflies are just like ink blots, so artistic.   Hope you like my card.

Using a 7"x7" white base card, mask off one inch all around  the card with masking tape.   Colour the centre with the Dusty concord, Shaded lilac, Scattered straw and Evergreen bough Distress inks.

Leaving the masking tape in position, lay part of the large butterfly Art Stencil on top and tape down, to stop the stencil from moving.   Spread the Verdigris Rusty Patina over the design, using the metal spatula.

Gently remove the masking tape and stencil and leave the images to dry.   When dry, rub some White gold Starlight Wax over the Rusty Patina, just lightly  across the surface.

Die-cut four corners from white card, using the Creative Expressions corner die.   Glue one in

each corner of the white base card.     Well that is this card finished.   Have a good week and I will be back very soon with a  tag next time.   In the meanwhile I am working on more samples for Imagination Craft's next shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel - some beautiful new Art Stamps, Art Stencils and gorgeous  rice papers, not to mention some fabulous new MDF items.   Take care of yourselves.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs    Jennifer xx.
