Take Time Out to Relax.

Hi Folks,

Hope you are all enjoying your long weekend, well sadly it is nearly at an end and tomorrow is another working day !   this weekend has just flown by, sorry couldn't stop myself saying that, as 'Time' is the theme for Imagination Craft's One Day Special shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel lol!   I do hope you managed to see last night's show, as well as the 9am. and 12 noon shows today.   Two more shows to go - the 4pm. and 7pm. this evening, that is.....if there is anything left to sell ha! ha!   wow !  fabulous products, brilliant demos by our lovely Sue and Lisa B.    The beautiful stamp sets were designed by Lisa B. and are just stunning, as well as the main image, there are many more stamps in the set, so you can create your own 'time themed' backgrounds.

I thought I would share another card with you which was shown on this mornings shows.   I will try and keep the written step by step guide as short as I can........but I think you know me by now, I can talk the hind legs off a donkey ha ha !    O.K. let's get started.

I have used a 7"x7" white card as a base to work on.   I cut a piece of white card approximately four and a half inches square.     I then used Imagination Craft's Mixed Media Spray Inks, sunshine, red and light purple to colour this piece of card.

Next, I stamped the main pocket watch image onto the centre of the coloured card using a Versamark pad.   I then heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

I then stamped a tiny butterfly from the set, in each corner using a black inkpad.    I then stamped four butterflies onto a spare piece of white card, using a Versamark pad and heat embossed them.

Next I cut out each butterfly and glued them onto the original stamped image.   I also added a touch of silicone glue under each wing.    By doing this, it means that you do not have to cut out the butterfly's feelers, which can be a wee bit tricky to say the least.   I have in the past cut out nearly all of the butterfly, then Oooopsee lol!  I accidentally snipped off the feeler and a butterfly with only one feeler is not good!!!

Next I stamped the main image another four times onto a piece of spare white card, using a black ink pad.   Cut it out and 3D onto the original embossed  image on the coloured card, using silicone glue.

.

I then coloured a piece of white card with the white gold Starlight paint and when dry, I stamped the watch onto it.   I then cut away the face, leaving the outer gold case and glued it onto the 3D image.

Using a black inkpad, stamp a cog wheel in each corner of the white base card.

Next, stamp the words 'Take Time Out to Relax' at the centre top of the base card  and 'On Your Birthday' at the centre bottom of the base card.

All that remains to be done is to matt this image onto a slightly larger piece of Imagination's shiny black card, then onto a larger piece of white card and finally onto another larger piece of black card.
This then gets glued to the base card and hey presto,  your card is finished.   Hope you like it.   I'm signing off for now, must get organised with a cup of tea, ready for the 4pm. show.

See you all again soon, when I will have a different project to share with you all.   Take care of yourselves and enjoy what time   (sorry for the pun again lol !)  is left of the Holiday weekend.

                                                              Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.
