'Nature's Creations.'

Hello Lovelies,

Thank you for stopping by my last blog post, hope you enjoyed your visit.   I do hope you are managing to steer clear of these nasty bugs which are doing the rounds.   Tonight I would like to  share another of my cards which was made for the Sue Baker Presents shows on the Create & Craft Channel on the 6th. of December 2019.   This was made using stamps, stencils, rice paper, structure paste, Cadence paints and Artsy stones.

Take a section of rice paper, wet it with a paint brush and water and gently tear apart.   On a  six and a half inch piece of white card, paint a section of the card from top to bottom with the Champagne metallic paint.   Using the fabric decoupage glue, fix the rice paper to the square of white card.

When dry, stamp the 'In a world'......sentiment at the top of the Champagne painted section, using a black ink pad.

Lay the cow parsley design from the stencil onto the card and spread the white structure paste over
the design, using a metal spatula.   Leave to dry.   Lay the spider's web across the top right corner and spread the structure paste through the design and leave to dry.

Add some watered down Champagne paint to the 2 keys in the bottom right corner.

Add some structure paste to the top right corner using a metal spatula and whilst still wet, add some Artsy Stones onto it.   When dry, rub some  Orchid finger wax over the surface of the stones, followed by a little purple Twinkle and Sparkle.    Add some Orchid finger wax to all four edges of this card, to draw the eye to the centre of the card.

Fix this card to a 7"x7" white base card.

Colour some spare white card with the copper, sapphire, Iris and Champagne paints.

From this Stamp out 1 large dragonfly, 2 butterflies and 3 bees using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with black embossing powder.
,

Cut out and glue these onto the base card using silicone glue.   Stamp 3 ladybirds onto the bottom of the card using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with black powder.   Stamp them again onto some white card using a black Versafine pad.   Cut out the body and head only,  of each ladybird and glue to the original images.   Paint with the blood red paint.

Glue the butterflies, bees and dragonfly in position using silicone glue.

The card is now finished, I do hope you like it.   Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be back soon.   Take care of yourselves until then.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'You are Braver than you think.'

Good evening Friends, Followers and Visitors,
Hope you are managing to keep warm during this cold spell of weather.   Thank you for your visits to my last blog post, hope you enjoyed your visit.   Tonight I would like to share a card I made for the 'Sue Baker Presents' shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel tomorrow,  Friday  6th. December 2019, launching at 8am.  and again at 2pm.   Hope you can tune in, as this is a stunning collection called 'The Secret Garden.'    I know you will just love this as much as I do,  o.k. here is a sneaky peak of my card, hope you like it.

Using a black inkpad, stamp the word 'Believe' in the top left corner of a 7"x7" white base card.

Stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner.

Die-cut a 6" circle from brown card and glue to the centre of the base card.   Next die-cut  a five and a half inch circle from white card and colour this with the shabby shutters, peeled paint, fired brick and fossilized amber distress inks, using a blending tool, adding a bit more fired brick around the edge on the top half and a darker green to the bottom half edges.   Matt this onto the brown circle on the white base card.

Stamp the deer image onto the coloured circle using a black inkpad.   Take some spare white card and stamp the deer image a further 4 times.   Colour these images using the Cadence dark gold and champagne  Hybrid Metallic paints.   In this photo the deer look as though they are painted with different colours but they are the same, it is the way the light is shining on them.

Cut out and 3D the image using silicone glue, then glue the 3D image to the original stamped image on the circle.

Stamp the cornflower onto spare white card 4 times using black ink.   Colour these with watered  down  Cadence clover green and ultramarine blue  Hybrid acrylic paints and die-cut them, using the die from the collection.

Arrange the cornflowers around the base of the deer and glue in position.

Die-cut 3 bees using the bee die from the collection, then using the bee stamp which matches the bee die-cut, stamp the image on top using a black inkpad.

Colour the bees with yellow and orange fine liner pens.   Colour the wings with well watered down ultramarine blue acrylic paint.   Glue these to the card front.

That's my card finished, I do hope you like it, I have loved working with this whole collection, especially the deer, as I adore deer........I think that love stems from the film  'Bambi' which I saw many times as a child lol!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you've enjoyed your visit.   Please pop back again, as I will be sharing more of my cards from this collection.

Please remember to tune in to the Create & Craft  T.V. Channel on Friday 6th. December at 8am and 2pm to see demonstrations by our lovely Sue Baker.    Take care of yourselves until my next blog post.

                                                               Love & rainbows,
                                                               Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'Birds in a Silver Cage.

Good afternoon Lovelies,

How are you all, well I hope, if not here's a (((Hug))) for you and I hope you feel better very soon.   Thank you for visiting my last blog post, hope you enjoyed your visit.

Apologies for not blogging for a while but life seems so busy at this time of year, not sure where the days have disappeared too lol!   This afternoon I would like to share a card with you that I made for The Sue Baker Presents Shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel in August this year.   This is made using the beautiful Birds & Blossoms Collection, just love these stamps,  right up my street lol!

Cut a six and a half inch square from some black cardstock.   Paint across the card using stripes of the Green-blue,  Blue-rose, Gold-rose and the Aqua-gold metallic paints, blending one into the other as you work down the card.

When dry, stamp the text stamp in the top left and bottom right corners, using a black inkpad.   Stamp the flower flourish in black ink, just off the edge of the card, in the bottom left corner.

Take a  square of black  card,  (which is slightly smaller than the 7"x7" white base card ) and matt it onto the base card.

Matt the painted, stamped card onto the base card, then stamp the 'Be the reason...' in the top right corner, using the Versamark pad and heat emboss with silver embossing powder.   Stamp the word 'Smile' on the bottom of the painted card with Versamark and heat emboss with silver powder.

Take another piece of black card and using the Versamark pad, stamp the birdcage and birds onto it.   Heat emboss this with some silver embossing powder.   Carefully trim around the image of the birdcage but not right up to the silver embossing, or it may chip away.

Fix this to the base card using some sticky fixers to give some dimension to the card design.

Paint a piece of black card with the Blue-rose metallic paint and when dry, stamp the flower from the flourish stamp 6 more times using a black inkpad.   (only 4 pieces showing in the photo).    Cut out and 3D the flower, then glue to the original stamped image on the base card.

That is this card finished my friends, quite a quick and easy card to make.   Hope you like it.   Enjoy the rest of your day.   I will be back as soon as time allows lol!   Take care of yourselves until then.

                                                                Love & Rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs Jennifer xx.

'Winter Beauty.'

Good evening Lovelies,

Hope you have all enjoyed your weekend.   We've had a quiet, relaxed one.   I have been making samples for the next Sue Baker Presents shows.   The newest collection is just gorgeous and I am having so much fun with it.   I know I always say this  but this collection is no exception lol!   Sorry but my lips are sealed at the moment but take it  from me, it IS gorgeous!   I'm not sure of the date of the show yet but, rest assured I will let you all know, as soon as I know.   Well, onto my card  for tonight.   This was made for the Sue Baker Presents shows on the  Create & Craft  T.V. shows in June this year, in which the 'Snow Queen Collection' was featured, another stunning collection.

Matt a square of black card onto a 7" x 7" white base card, leaving a small border of the white showing.

Cut a slightly smaller square of white linen card and colour by painting with the Mediterranean Sky, silver  and the Amethyst Starlight paints, blending the colours together.

When this is dry, matt it onto the black matt on the white base card.

Cut 4 x 3 inch squares from some  white linen card.

Using the stamps from the collection, stamp an image onto each square, making one of the squares a sentiment,  using a black inkpad.   Matt each square onto a slightly larger piece of black card.

Glue these squares to the painted matt. on the base card, evenly spaced.

Colour a smaller piece of the white linen card using the Mediterranean Sky and Jade paints.   Stamp the  butterfly onto it, using a black inkpad.   Trim around the butterfly, gently shape the wings with your fingers and glue to the centre of the 4 squares.

Glue some single strips of lavender diamond wrap between the squares.

Using silicone glue, add a 'blob'  under each wing to lift them up a little.   Glue some diamond wrap to the body of the butterfly.

From the left-over coloured card, cut out, or punch 2 small squares, then cut each square across the centre, corner to corner, making 4 triangles.   Glue one in each corner of the squares as shown.

Thank you  so much for your kind comments and your many visits to my last blog, each and every one is appreciated.   I hope you enjoyed your visit.   Please leave me a comment I do love to hear your thoughts on my creations.    Take care of yourselves, have a good week and I will be back as soon as time permits lol! ...........more samples to make.
