'Frozen Snow Queen.'

Good  Afternoon All,

Hope you are all well and happy, despite the changeable weather lol!    Another weekend not far away, they do seem to come around very quickly which I'm very happy about but, it does mean my life is going by faster lol!   not so sure I'm happy about the latter lol!

I thought I would share another of my card samples made for our lovely Sue Baker's latest shows on the Create & Craft T.V  Channel last month,  'Sue Baker Presents.'    I really enjoyed making cards with these gorgeous A4 stamp sets.   This collection is called 'The Snow Queen Collection',   such beautiful designs, I just love them.

Matt a square of black card onto a 7" x 7" white base card, leaving a half inch border of the white showing.   Take a smaller square of white card and stamp the 'Snow Queen' onto the centre, using a black ink pad.

Make a paper mask of the same image, trim around the edges and lay on top of the original image.

Colour around the paper mask using the Stormy Sky and Dusty Concord distress inks using a blending tool, whilst holding the mask in position.

Remove the mask.   Stamp the icicles, owl, butterfly,  stars and the word 'Beautiful.' using a black ink pad.   Matt this onto the black matt on the  white base card.

Stamp the main image once again onto some white card, using a black ink pad and colour with the distress inks, water and a paintbrush.   Cut out.

Add some glue around the base and up the right-hand side of the original stamped image on the coloured card and sprinkle on the purple crushed glass glitter.   Shake off the excess.

Glue the cut out image to the original image on the coloured card.

Highlight parts of the stamped images using a white pen.

Add small amounts of Diamond glitter paste to her cheek, lips, hair and the fur around the hood of her cloak, using your fingertip.   The glitter has not shown up so well on the photos but it does  make her look icy cold in real life so to speak

The card is now finished, hope you like it.   Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog and if you have left a comment 'thank you'    I really appreciate it.   I do love to hear what you think of my projects.   Take good care of yourselves until my next post.   Happy Crafting!

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                     Hugs   Jennifer xx.
