'Iced Snow Queen'.

Hello Lovelies,

Here we are again, yet another weekend  here lol!  no sooner than the week begins, the weekend is here again!   This year seems to be just flying by at an enormous rate of knots lol!   Today I would like to share one of my sample cards made for the lovely Sue Baker's launch of the gorgeous new  'Snow Queen Collection' which was shown on the  Create & Craft T.V. shows on the 22nd./23rd. of July 2019.   This is a stunning collection and I just love it lol!   right up my street as the saying goes.   I do hope you like it too.    The designs are beautiful and they certainly inspired me.  Whilst making my samples,  ideas were popping  into my head for the next card lol!   could have just kept on making cards with this collection, so many combinations, especially if you have all 4 sets of stamps, you can mix and match lol.    Well enough chit chat, we shall get started with the card.   Apologies for all the photos but I do like to share the different stages with you....you will be pleased to hear, there is not much reading to do lol!

Begin by stamping the word 'ICE' in the bottom right corner of a 7" x 7" white base card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with silver embossing powder.

Take a piece of watercolour card and colour it using the light purple, light blue, light green and white spray inks, plus a spray or two of water.   Let the inks move around on the card, then leave to dry.   When dry, stamp the large Snow Queen onto it, using a black inkpad.

Trim around this image to approximately four and a half inches by five inches.   Matt and layer this onto  a slightly larger piece of white card. ,

Take another piece of white card slightly larger than the last matt and using a metal spatula or a brayer, spread some lavender glitter paste around all four outer edges.   I dried this using a heat gun which gives a 'bobbly' effect, which  I  quite like.

Matt the snow Queen image onto the lavender edged card.   Punch a small hole in each corner, for this I used a Cropodile tool, which cuts through card and more,  like butter lol!

Add some lavender glitter paste to each brad and when dry, fix one in each hole.

Stamp the ice crown 8 times onto some spare white card, using the silver pigment pad and heat emboss with silver embossing powder.

(I stamped an extra crown just in case I spoiled one when cutting them out) -  only seven were needed.

Cut out each crown and glue to the back of the image.   Four down the right-hand edge and three along the bottom edge, making sure the points of the ice crown will not protrude beyond the edges of the base card.

Glue this to the base card.

Punch out sixteen small circles from a piece of white card, coloured with the lavender glitter paste.   Glue to the right and bottom edges of the base card.

Glue one in her hair and the others to her ice crown.

Add some highlights to the image using a white pen.   Well the card is now finished.   I really enjoyed making this card, I do hope you like it too.   That's all from me for the moment, take care of yourselves and have a great weekend.

                                                                    Love & Rainbows,

                                                                     Hugs   Jennifer xx.
