In the Pink Snow Queen.

Hello Lovelies,

I'm back again!   Another weekend is here lol!  yeah!  maybe you have  an exciting weekend planned or, you may be having a quiet one, whichever  it is, I do hope you have a good one.

Thank you for your visits and comments on my last blog post, each and everyone is really appreciated.   Tonight I have another card which I made for the Sue Baker Presents shows on the Create & Craft  T.V. Channel on the 22nd/23rd. July 2019.   I have used the large snowflake and word stamps from the wonderful Snow Queen Collection plus the gorgeous Snow Queen image, I just adore her, she is so  beautiful.   Hope you like this one.   Bear with me once again, there are quite a few photos but not much reading to do lol!

Take a square of white card, just slightly smaller than the 7" x 7" white base card.   Using a pencil, draw a line from the top left to the bottom right corner and a line from the top right to the bottom left, as a guide (which can be rubbed out later.)

Put this in your stamping platform if you have one and stamp the large snowflake from the set, in the centre, using the Amethyst pigment pad and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Continue in the same manner, joining up the snowflakes until you have 9 images.   Using the same stamp, add a part snowflake to each corner.   Heat emboss all snowflakes with the clear embossing powder.

Stamp the words Beautiful, Sparkle, Magical and Snow around the edges using a gold pigment pad and heat emboss them using gold embossing powder.

Colour the edges of this card with the seedless preserves distress ink and a blending tool.

Glue a gemstone in the centre of each snowflake (except the one in the centre, as this one will be covered up by the topper later).

Take a piece of white linen effect card and stamp the head of the Snow Queen in her hood, with the gold pigment pad and heat emboss  using the gold embossing powder....Die cut a circle around her head using a 2" circle die.

Colour around the edges of this circle with the seedless preserves distress ink and a blending tool.   Put a little of the distress ink  onto a work surface, add a little water and paint the image ie., her hair, lips etc.,

Highlight her hair, lips and eyes using a white gel pen.   Matt this onto a slightly larger circle of white card.
                                                     .
Then fix this to the centre of the snowflakes, using sticky foam pads or silicone glue.

Matt and layer this onto the base card and the card is finished.

The gold embossing on her face and the words unfortunately do not show up very well on these photos, sorry about that,  I'm not the world's best photographer lol!  but learning all the time ha ha!

Take care of yourselves and have a wonderful weekend, I think the weather has to cheer up a little and we may, if we're lucky, see some sunshine lol!

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                       Happy Crafting,  Hugs  Jennifer xx.
