Hello again Lovelies,
I'm back again with another card to share with you. This was made for the Imagination Craft's show on the Create and Craft T.V. Channel in March of this year. I have used stencils from Imagination's 'Vintage Beauty' collection, Mixed Media glue & Black structure paste, Cadence colour mist inks and Metallic paints.
Matt a square of black card, cut slightly smaller than the 8" x 8" ivory base card. Take a slightly smaller piece of white card and colour it, using the Cadence light purple and the light green colour mist inks and a piece of foam.
Lay the lily design from the stencil onto the left-hand side of this piece of card and secure with stencil spray or blue low tack tape. Using the stencil brush, stipple the Dora emerald paint over the stem and leaves of the lily and the Zinober gold paint over the lily flower heads.
When dry, lay the lady from the stencil onto the right-hand side of this piece of card, securing with the Cadence stencil spray or.blue low tack tape and using the metal spatula, spread the black structure paste through the design. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
Lay the word 'Dreaming' from the stencil just below the main image and secure with the blue tape and spread the black structure paste over the design. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry and wash the stencil, ready for future use.
When this is dry, trim along the bottom of the card, making a wavy edge, just enough to show some of the black matt below the wavy edge. Matt this onto the black matt on the ivory base card.
Lay the 'broken rings' from the stencil onto the top left of the card and spread the black structure paste through the design. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
Paint some white card with the Zinober gold paint and when dry, die-cut 3 large and 4 small butterflies from this card. Glue the 4 small butterflies around her neck, 2 large ones in her hair and the other large one in the centre of the broken circle, see photos below.
The card is now finished. Below is a photo taken at an angle to show the dimension of the design.
As always, thank you for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog, I do really appreciate it. Hope you all have a good week whatever you have planned. Take care and be safe. I'll be back again quite soon.
Love and Rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
