A Rose for all Seasons.

Good evening Peeps,

Time to share another creation with you.   These days and weeks are flying by, we are halfway through May already!   At least the weather has been dry here today, not very warm though.  Our lawns need cutting again but they are still too wet, maybe by Saturday they will have dried out a little.

I'm finishing off the last of my cards, ready to post on Friday for Imagination Craft's  next show on Create and Craft T.V. next week.   I will show a 'sneaky peek' nearer the day of the show.  Tonight my card uses the small shadow rose stamp which I love.   I'm not sure if  this stamp is still available, as this was a few years ago.   I have actually stamped this with Sparkle Medium.

Make a base card from green linen card and matt a slightly smaller piece of brown card on top, leaving a small border of the green showing.

Take a piece of cream card, slightly smaller than the brown and using the 'Forest green' distress ink, stamp the 'flourish' from the rose decoupage stamp set, around all four edges.

Wrap a piece of green ribbon across the centre of the card and secure it on the reverse.   Glue this card to the base card.

Take another piece of green linen card and using the small 'shadow rose' stamp, stamp the rose onto it, using the 'forest green' distress ink.   Next put some 'sage green' Sparkle Medium onto an acrylic block or something similar and dab a piece of cut n' dry foam into it.   Dab this onto the rose stamp and stamp on top of the first image,  moving the stamp slightly to give the appearance of a shadow.   Leave to dry.

When dry, trim the green linen card to approximately 4" x 4" square and matt onto a piece of brown card, leaving a small border of brown showing.

Fix this to the centre of the base card and the card is now finished.     Quite a quick card to make.   Hope you like it.   Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog, much appreciated.

See you all again in a few days.   Have fun and be happy.

                                                                 Love and rainbows.

                                                              Crafty Hugs,   Jennifer xx.
