Crocus Time.

Hi there my Lovelies,

A very happy Sunday to you all.    Hope it's been a good one for you and we still have Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow!    Have you got anything nice planned?   I hope so.    Tonight I would like to share another card with you, which I made for Sue and Harvey of  Imagination Craft's  latest show on Create & Craft on the 18th April.    This is a quick and easy card to make.

Make a base card from dark green card stock.   Matt a smaller piece of white card onto the green, then matt another piece of green card onto  the white, leaving a border of white showing.

Take the patterned 'damask' card and lay the 'leaf flourish' stencil on top and dab  some green distress ink through the design.   Remove the stencil and leave image to dry.   When dry, lay the stencil back on the card and slightly off set the stencil and spread the 'lavender' and 'forest green'  Sparkle Mediums  over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   When dry, trim the image using a trimmer and fancy blade.    Matt this onto the base card.

Take a piece of white card and using a black ink pad,  stamp the main crocus image onto it.   Colour this image with Promarker pens and cut out.

Using the square Marianne die, cut out the lacy square from green card.   Glue the crocus image to the back of the square.

Glue this to the centre of the base card and that is it finished.   Thank you for visiting my blog and if you have left me a comment, thank you again.   Enjoy your Holiday  Monday.   See you all again in a few days.   have fun.

                                                                   Love and Rainbows,

                                                                 Big Hugs,   Jennifer xx.

  4. Jennifer, thanks for your visit. I'm not getting round to visit much either. Just can't seem to get with it lately. Popped back over to enjoy this lovely floral card you've shared. The flowers are so pretty and the lacy mat shows the image to perfection. I am loving all the glittering stencil techniques you've done with this Imagination product. It looks like such fun. And you're a pro at using it too! TFS & hope all is well. Hugs
