Roses with love.

Hi there   Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope you've all enjoyed your weekend despite the changeable weather lol!   Tonight I have another card to share with you.   This card was made for Imagination Craft's  last Create & Craft show earlier this month.   I have made the background by using stencil paint and crackle medium.

Begin by folding the white card in half along the crease line, making a 7"x7" square card.   Matt a smaller piece of cerise coloured card onto the base card, leaving a small border of white showing.

Take a piece of white card  smaller than the cerise and paint all over with the pink lace Silkie.

When dry, paint with the crackle medium.   When that is dry,  paint with white Gesso and it should begin to crack.   The thicker the layer of crackle medium, the bigger the cracks will be.

When this is dry, lay the rose duo panel stencil on the left-hand side and stipple the rose stencil paint through the design, adding small amounts of white Gesso to highlight certain parts.

When this is dry, draw around the rose using the Gold Gilt Detail Sparkle and leave to dry.   In the meantime,  take a piece of white card and stamp 'with love'  onto it   using a Versamark pad  and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.

Take a piece of white card and colour it with the rose stencil paint and when dry, die cut the shape using the Spellbinder's die.   Take the white card stamped with gold embossing powder and cut out a circle around the  'with love'   to  fit  the centre of the rose pink shape, using the Nellie Snellen circle die.

Punch out six small hearts from the coloured card and fit in the slits around the white circle and glue the  white circle onto the pink shape.   Glue this  to the right-hand side of the card.

Well that's all for tonight, hope you like this card.   Thank you again for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog.   See you all soon.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                     Hugs   Jennifer xx.
