Butterfly Flight.

Hi there my Lovelies,

I'm back again with another card for you but before we get started, I would like to welcome my newest follower Jacqueline Heeks, hope you enjoy your visits and thanks for following.       Please pop on over to Jacqueline's site and have a look at what she has on her page.

This card is made using two of my favourite things - butterflies, along with my favourite colour - lavender.   I have used Imagination Crafts  beautiful butterfly panel stencil and of course my favourite product Sparkle Medium, mind you, their new productc - Starlight paints and Alchemy wax, are a very close second lol!  they are fabulous, such gorgeous colours.

Take a piece of A4  pearlised card and put in the Tattered Lace embossing folder and emboss.   Remove the card from the folder and fold in half lengthways.    Cut down to  seven and a quarter inches in length.    This will be your base card.

Matt a strip of the purple card down the left-hand side, approximately one quarter of an inch in from the fold.   Take the patterned panel card and lay the stencil on top and dab the seeded preserves distress inks through the design, using a piece of cut n' dry foam.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

When dry, turn the stencil over  so the butterflies are facing in the opposite direction and lay it on top of the patterned panel card.   Spread the lavender Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Matt this onto the base card right up to the opening edge of the card, leaving some of the purple card showing on the left.   Emboss a small piece of pearlised card using the Tattered Lace embossing folder and  cut ot seven of the diamonds and cut in half lengthways.   Glue these half diamonds down the purple card.

Glue a half diamond in the top and bottom right corners.   Stamp three large and one small butterflies onto some purple card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with white embossing powder.

The butterfly stamp is from Imagination Craft's 'Time Flies' stamp set.     Cut them out and glue these onto the base card.

Well that's all folks, I'm off to do some commenting, then it's the land of nod for me lol!   Have a fab weekend and I'll be back soon.   Thanks for visiting.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                         Happy crafting,   Hugs   Jennifer xx.
