Pretty Lady.

Hello there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope you have all had a happy relaxing weekend and managed to have some 'chill out' time.   I have been working hard in my craft room, getting my samples ready to post to Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts, as they have a show coming up very soon on the Hochanda TV  channel.   My samples are finished, written up and photocopied  phew!   all that remains to be done is to photograph them and finally pack them up and pop them in the post.

Tonight's card was made in October 2015 and although does not use an Imagination Craft's stamp, I have used their beautiful Starlight paints and stencil.   The stamp is one I bought from Imagination Craft's shop many, many years ago and has long been a favourite of mine.   It is just so different.

Fold the light cream card down the centre crease line, making a 7"x7" base card.   Die-cut four corners using the Tonic corner die, then paint them with the blue Starlight paint.   Glue one in each corner of the base card.

Cut and matt a smaller piece of navy card onto the base card, leaving parts of the corner die-cuts showing.   Take a piece of white pearlised card and lay the sunburst stencil on top and colour, using the Salty ocean, Dried marigold and Picked raspberry distress inks.   Round off the corners with the corner rounder punch.  Fix this to the base card.

Stamp the image onto some white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with copper embossing powder.   Colour the image with the Vintage Pearly Paint Palette.   Add highlights with the Blue and Cyclamen Starlight paints.   Cut out around the image and matt onto a piece of navy card.   Trim around the edges, leaving a small border of the navy card showing.

Die-cut a further 3 corners and paint with the blue Starlight paint.   Glue these to the back of the image, leaving some of the die-cuts showing.

Fix this to the centre of the base card, using sticky foam pads to add some dimension to the card

Colour a small amount of white card with the blue paint and when dry, punch out 12 small circles and glue to each corner of the card.

Well there we have it, card finished.   Thanks so much for stopping by, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit.   I will be sharing a 'sneaky peek'  of one of my creations,  made for the next  show on the Hochanda TV Channel.   Until then, have a good week.   See you soon.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                               Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
