A Trio of Christmas Baubles.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope your weekend has gone with a swing lol!  despite the dreary damp weather.   Tonight I would like to share a card with you, which I made for Imagination Craft's show on the  Hochanda T.V.  Channel last December.     For the decoration on the baubles, I have used an Imagination stencil and made a shadow effect using distress ink.

Fold the white card down the centre crease line, making a 7"x7" base card.   Colour the outside edges of the card front, with the Tattered rose, Barn door and Wild honey distress inks, using a blending tool, darker at the edges and lighter as you reach the centre.

Lay the Baubles Embossable stencil onto the now coloured card.   Using the Hickory smoke distress ink and a piece of cut n ' dry foam, dab the ink through the baubles design.   Remove the stencil.

Using  the Hickory smoke distress ink and the 'scroll' stamp from the 'Bells' decoupage stamp set, stamp the scroll in the top left corner.    Stamp the text 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' using a black ink pad, in the bottom right corner.

Colour another piece of white card with the same colours of distress ink that you did for the base card.   Die-cut one large, one medium and one small bauble using the Marianne die set.   Lay the small stars stencil on to each of the baubles and dab the Hickory smoke DI through the stars.   Remove stencil, clean it and lay it back on the baubles but slightly to one side.   Spread the  silver Sparkle Medium  over the stars.   Remove stencil and leave image to dry.   Repeat this on the other two baubles.

Using some light grey card,  glue the baubles onto it and hand cut around each bauble leaving a tiny border of the grey showing.    Glue the baubles in place on the base card in the position you like best using silicone glue.

Using the Marianne die set, cut out three holders for the tops of the baubles, from black card.   Colour them with Imagination Craft's silver Alchemy Wax.   Shape them a little and glue the to the top of each bauble, using silicone glue.

Add a gold satin ribbon bow to the top of each bauble.   Hey presto! card finished lol!    Hope you like it.   I know  some of us don't want to think of Christmas yet lol!  but some crafters begin making their Christmas cards now, so it is not such a big job nearer the time.     I'm afraid I'm not one of those people lol    I either wait until the last week or so or, then panic,  or  believe it or not,  I buy some !!!      I'll be back again very soon with another project.   So stay snug and warm and above all, be happy.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                           Happy rafting,   Hugs   Jennifer xx.
