Sunrise.

Happy Saturday, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far.   The weather is beautiful here today, warm and sunny, hope it is where you are too.   Thank you for your comments and visits on my last blog post, most kind of you.

Today I would like to share another sample I made for the Sue Baker Presents shows on the Create & Craft T.V. shows, on 22nd./23rd. July 2019,  using the gorgeous Snow Queen Collection.   I just love this collection, the snow queen is just so beautiful.   The designs are stunning.    As in my previous blogs, please bear with me as there are quite a few photos but not that much to read lol!

  
Working on the front of the 7" x 7" white base card, stamp the corner flourish in each corner, using a black inkpad.

     
Cut a piece of  black card about half an inch smaller than the base card and fix it onto the base card.

Take  another piece of black card, about a quarter of an inch smaller than the black card and lay the sunrise stencil on  top and using a large stencil brush, stipple the antique gold Starlight paint through the design, adding some rich gold paint from the centre, working up the rays and blending in with the antique gold.

       
When dry, stamp the small flourish in each ray of the sun using a black inkpad.

                     
Stamp the Snow Queen on the Polar bear in the centre, again  using a black inkpad

       
I have done this as a guide for when I come to place the 3D decoupage of the Queen and bear onto this card,  plus any fine lines on the stamped image which could not be cut out, ie; her wisps of hair flying in the wind.     Glue a clear  gemstone on each black section of the sunrise, except for the two bottom ones, as they will eventually be covered by the 3D decoupage.   Fix this to the base card.

 
Stamp the main image of the Snow Queen and the Polar bear four times onto some spare white card, using a black inkpad.   Colour her cloak with  Promarker pens bluebell and orchid,  her face with blush and  her dress with the  rich gold Starlight paint.

 
                                        Fussy cut each piece and 3D them using silicone glue

 

 

 
When the glue has set, matt this onto the base card on top of the original stamped image.   Card is now finished.
