'Dream Bird' card.

Good afternoon Lovelies and a good one it is lol!  Wall to wall sunshine and blue skies, long may it last, although I see the trees surrounding us are all beginning to change colour lol!   I do love the Autumn, particularly for the colours but not the early morning mists lol!  can't have it all ways.   Our red squirrels are busy collecting their food for the Winter, scurrying around our garden and burying their nuts in the lawn and my window boxes lol!   We are so....lucky to have them.    Thank you once again for visiting my blog and commenting, I do love to hear what you think.   Time for me to share another card, made for the Sue Baker Presents' shows on Create & Craft T.V. recently, made using the gorgeous   'Birds & Blossoms Collection.'    I also used some stunning paints by Cadence, such beautiful delicate colours.   Hope you like it.   Please bear with me to the end of this blog as there are quite a lot of photos but as usual, you'll be please to know...not a great deal of reading to be done.   O.K. let's get started

Take a piece of white card approximately six & a quarter inches by five & a half inches and gently colour the centre with the milled lavender distress ink,   Then some dusty concord and finally, some shabby shutters distress inks.

Punch all four corners of this coloured card, using the decorative corner punch by Woodware.   Colour the edges of this card with some forest moss distress ink.

Colour a small piece of white card with the light purple Mixed Media spray ink and when dry, place behind each flower in the four corners, so the purple card shows through the open flowers.

Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of gold mirror card.   Using the black ink pad, stamp the flourish down the left-hand edge of the white 7" x 7" base card.   Matt the gold mirror card onto the white base card.

Stamp the bird and fuchsia images onto the coloured card using the gold metallic ink pad and heat emboss with gold powder.

Paint the images - the tops of the fuchsias with the Cadence gold rose, the lower petals with the light purple Mixed Media spray ink and water.

The 2 leaves and flourishes with watered down with Cadence  green finger wax.

The bird with the Cadence green blue paint for the wings and the gold finger wax and water for the breast.

Paint some spare white card with the same colours as above.   When dry, stamp the fuchsias, leaves, wings and breast, again with the gold pigment pad and heat emboss with gold powder.

Colour a small piece of white card with the light purple spray ink and when dry, stamp with the gold pad and heat emboss with gold powder, the lower petals of the fuchsias.

Cut out and gently shape with your fingers, all the fuchsia parts and leaves and 3D them onto the original images, using silicone glue.

Cut out the blue wings of the bird and glue to the original image, again using silicone glue.

Colour the tiny hearts and drops with the light purple spray ink  and glue three topaz gemstones to the flourishes on the main image.

Stamp the word 'Dream' on the bottom right of the card, using the gold pigment pad and heat emboss with gold powder

Glue a pale turquoise blue satin bow to the left-hand side of the base card.

Well that's all from me for the moment, hope you enjoy your visit to my blog and you've managed to persevere to the end lol!     I began writing this blog this afternoon and now it is 6.30pm.   where did that time go to lol!   I suppose it does take time cropping the photos lol!     So, I must stop and get our evening meal prepared.

Catch you all again very soon with another card using this beautiful Birds  Blossoms Collection.

                                                                   Love and rainbows.

                                                                   Hugs   Jennifer xx.
