'Happiness Is....'

Hello Friends, Followers and  Visitors,

Hope you are all well, if not, here's a big hug lol!     I think we all have days where we feel we need a big hug lol.   The weather is definitely on the turn lol!   The chances of an Indian summer have probably passed I feel.   I just hope we don't have a bad winter.    Ok I have another  card sample made for the Sue Baker Presents  shows on the Create & Craft  T.V Channel recently and uses her beautiful 'Birds & Blossoms Collection.'    I would like to welcome my newest follower Karen, hope you enjoy your visits.

Cut a rectangle six  and a quarter inches by two and a half inches, from black card.   Matt a slightly smaller piece of lime green card onto the black.   Stamp the hanging birdhouse in the top right corner of the lime green card, using a black inkpad.

Matt this onto the right-hand side of the 7" x 7" white base card,

Cut a smaller rectangle from black card and  another smaller from the lime green card, glue the green on top og the black, then glue to the front of the base card.

Stamp 'Happiness is...'   at the top of the base card, using a black inkpad.

Colour some white card using the light blue, yellow and light purple Mixed Media spray inks.   When dry,  die-cut a scalloped square from it.

Next, using a black inkpad, stamp the two birds sitting on the branch onto it.

Colour the image with watered down spray inks.    Colour the branch and birds heads with watered down Inca Gold Finger Wax.

Add some dots of watered down Inca Gold Finger Wax to the centres of the small blossoms on the main image.

Stamp the image once again onto some spare white card and colour with the inks as previously.   Cut this out and 3D onto the original image using silicone glue.   Colour the edges of the scalloped die-cut with some Cadence Inca Gold Finger Wax.   Matt this onto a plain square piece of black card.

Matt this onto the centre of the base card, on top of the two rectangles.

Colour another piece of white card with the spray inks and stamp 8 flowers using a black inkpad.   (This small flower stamp was given free with a craft magazine some time ago and  I cannot remember which one, sorry...I buy so many lol!   -  note to self - must cut down lol!)   but hey! I do love to read them!      Cut out the flowers.

Add some dots of gold to the stamen using a gold pen.   Glue two,  to  the top left and three to

each of the bottom corners, using silicone glue.

The card is now finished.   I know this is quite a long tutorial, so thanks for reading to the end.    Below I have shown the card photographed at an angle so you can see the 3D effect and the beautiful sheen of the finger wax around the scalloped square, when the light shines on it.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog to visit, much appreciated as always.

                                                             Love and rainbows,

                                                              Hugs    Jennifer xx.
