'Use Your Smile.' From 'Birds & Blossoms Collection' by Sue Baker Presents.

Hi there Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Hope you're all having a good week so far, whatever you are doing.     The weather here has been  dry over the last few days thank goodness but I think this cannot last for much longer lol!  we are into the Autumn now, the season of  mists and mellow fruitfulness.    Thank you for your comments and visits on my last blog post, I do appreciate them.   Tonight I would like to share another card with you, which I made for the Sue  Baker Presents shows on the Create & Craft T.V, Channel last Saturday, using the gorgeous 'Birds & Blossoms  Collection.'     When I had finished this card I had it sitting on our dresser in the  lounge, as I just liked looking at it lol,  it just made me feel happy when the sun shone in the room as it really   sparkled.   The flowers are painted with the stunning Cadence Metallic paints.   O.K. now onto my tutorial on how  I made it lol!

Take a square of white card, slightly smaller than the 7" x 7" white base card.   Using a black ink pad, stamp the 'Smile' sentiment in the centre'

Draw a 4" diameter circle around the sentiment as a guide, using a pencil so this can be erased later.   Stamp the small dragonfly around the outside of the circle, using a black ink pad.

Using a blending tool and the Tumbled Glass Distress ink, colour around the edges of the stamped card, keeping the centre white.   Matt this onto the base card.

Colour a piece of card, big enough to punch out eleven flowers, with the  Cadence Twin Magic Gold Aqua, Blue Rose and Green Blue  Metallic paints, blending the colours together.

When dry, punch out eleven flowers using the Martha Stewart flower punch.   Gently shape them using an embossing tool on a embossing pad or piece of foam.

Glue the flowers, varying the colours around the pencilled circle.   When the glue has dried, rub away any pencil lines which can be seen.

Glue a large pink gemstone in the centre of each flower.

Glue three smaller pink gemstones just above the sentiment and three below.

The card is now finished, this is quite a quick, easy card to make if you do not have much time.
Thanks for visiting my blog, hope you've enjoyed your visit.    Take care of yourselves until my next blog post, when I will be sharing another card, made using this beautiful Birds & Blossoms Collection.    See you all then.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                   Hugs   Jennifer xx.
