'Make a Wish.

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are enjoying this beautiful sunny day as we are here.   Thank you all for your visits and lovely comments on my last blog, I do appreciate the time it takes.   I have been working on more sample cards for Imagination Craft's shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel, coming up very soon.   I will be posting one of my samples just before the show and I will let you know the date and time then.

Today I have a card I made for a family member and I have used  Imagination Craft's dandelion and hanging heart stamps and chicken wire stencil for the background.

Take a piece of A4 card and trim about a quarter of an inch from one of the long sides (I do this so the finished card will fit the envelope).   Fold the card in half, portrait style.

Take another piece of white card 7" x 5" and lay the chicken wire stencil onto it.   Using the Evergreen Bough, a little Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks, blend the colours through the stencil, fading out towards the outer edges of the card, using a blending tool.

Remove the stencil and rub some Black Soot distress ink around all four edges of the piece of card   Stamp the dandelion stamp from Imagination Craft's 'Modernista' Collection, onto the centre of the card using a black ink pad.

Stamp 'Happy Birthday' to the centre top.

Stamp 'Wish' to the right and 'Fairy Wishes'  and  'Just for you' to the bottom right.

Stamp the fairy (which was given free with a craft magazine many years ago) in black ink.   Using the hanging heart stamp, stamp one hanging from the bottom of the H on Happy and the other from the word 'Wish.'

Matt this card onto a slightly larger piece of yellow card and then onto a slightly larger piece of black card.   Finally matt this onto the white base card portrait style.

Finally  add a flat backed pearl to the dot of the letter 'i' in wish.

Well that's all from me for the moment.   Enjoy the rest of your day and I will be back in the very near future.   Until then, stay safe and well.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.
