'Beautiful Blooms.'

Hi there once again Lovelies,

I am back with another card to share with you, which was made for the Cadence 'Beautiful Blooms' show on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel on the 28th. October 2021.   These weeks and months seem to be flying by at an enormous rate of knots lol!   here we are at the beginning of November, would you believe!   before we know it, it will be Christmas once again.

Enough chat from me it is now time to get down to some card making lol!   Hope you like this one.

These gorgeous rice papers make card making so easy, you do not need much more to make a beautiful card,

Colour the edges of a piece of white card seven and a quarter inches. square with the Cadence Hybrid acrylic Fuchsia paint.   Then matt and layer this onto an eight inch square white base card.

Cut out the section of rice paper with the flowers on, cutting it slightly larger than seven inches square.   Cut out a piece of white card seven inches square and using the decoupage glue, fix the rice paper to the seven inch square, bending the extra paper to the back of the piece of card and securing with glue.   Make sure there are no air bubbles on the card front.

Lay the word ' PARFUM' from the stencil on the top of the background card, securing with the blue low tack tape.   Spread the Cadence sage Shabby Chic relief paste over the word, using a metal spatula.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Take some white card and paint it with the floral white paint and when dry, lay the perfume bottle design from the stencil onto it.   Spread the sage relief paste over it, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Next cut out the bottle.

Cut out a narrow white circle (I used the negative after die- cutting a circle for another project, then carefully trimmed around the outside of the negative, leaving me with a narrow circle).

Matt the background card onto the Fuchsia painted card.

Glue the circle to the base card using the mixed media glue.

Cut out the flower from the second sheet of the same design rice paper and glue it onto a piece of white card, using the decoupage glue.

When dry, cut out,  trimming away any excess white card, then fix it just inside the circle ,( moving it away a little from the original image,)  using silicone glue.

Fix the perfume bottle to the right of the circle using silicone glue.

Lastly, add a pink satin ribbon bow to the neck of the perfume bottle.

The card is now finished..   Thank you once again for all your visits and lovely comments on my previous blog post,   I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and that I may have inspired you to give card making a go, if you are not already addicted to this great hobby.   Catch you all again soon.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                   Hugs   Jennifer xx.
