'Friends Always.'

Good evening Lovelies,

I'm back again with another card to share with you.   Hope all is well and you have had a good weekend.   Here we are again at the beginning of another week, they sure do come around quick lol !

This card is an easy, quick card to make.    I have used a 7" black square  card  as my base card, another of my favourite Stampendous stamps, which I have had in my craft stash for some years now.   It is a cling stamp and is called 'single butterfly'  which is a little odd, as I see it as a lovely flower lol !   the petals I have to admit, do look like butterfly wings, and it makes  a beautiful delicate flower.   I have also used a Sizzix Thinlit die set - diamonds corner die,  Tim Holtz Distress inks.   The 'Friends Always'  stamp was given free with a craft magazine some time ago and the leaf stem stamp was also given free with a craft magazine and is called' Spring Foliage'  and is by Chloe's Creative Cards, a more recent magazine (sorry cannot remember which mag,)     O,K. time to get started on this evening's card.

Cut a piece of white card to a six and a quarter inch square.   Using the Sizzix diamond corner die, die-cut the diamonds from the top right and bottom left corners of the white card.

Add some dots of the Cadence liquid gold jewellery in between the rows of diamonds and leave to set.

When set, glue this piece of card to the black base card.

Using a black ink pad stamp out two leaf stems and the 'Friends Always' oval and cut them out.

Glue the oval to the centre of the base card and a leaf stem to the top left and the bottom right of the oval.

Using some spare white card, stamp the flower twice using a black ink pad.   Colour the flowers with the Fired Brick and Mustard Seed Distress inks.   Put some ink from the pads onto a glass worktop or similar, add a little water and paint the flowers with that, which gives a more blended look.

When dry, add some Cadence liquid gold jewellery to the centre of each flower, as above.   Glue one flower to the top left and the other to the bottom right corners, adding a little silicone glue under each petal to give the card some dimension.   Well that's this card finished, I do hope you like it.   Below is  another photo of the finished card, which shows the dimension.

Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my blog, I appreciate your visits and comments.   Have a good week and I will be back again quite soon.  Take care of yourselves and stay safe and well.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.
