'Sending Love Your Way.'

Hi there Lovelies,

Hope you are all well.   This year is just flying by at a rate of knots lol!     As I haven't blogged for a while, I thought it was about time for me to share another of my creations with you.     This card was made using the 'Zinnia' stamp from Stampendous, which I have had in my craft stash for some years now and is one of my favourites.

I have also used one of the corner stamps and the small 'dotty  circle'  stamp for the background.   These last two stamps were given free with the Creative Stamping Magazine, May issue 109 and were from the A4 set of stamps.   The sentiment stamp was also free with the magazine if I remember correctly.

Make a white base card approximately five and a quarter inches square on which to work.   Cut a slightly smaller square of the blue/green patterned paper from 'Chloe's Bumper Paper Pack.' also free with a craft magazine,  ( sorry cannot remember which one lol but fairly recent), and glue this to the base card.

Cut another piece of white card 5" square and using a blending tool, colour this with the mustard seed and wild honey Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

Next, using the 'dotty' square from the A4 set of stamps, stamp it all over the 5" square of card using the fired brick distress ink.

Matt and layer this coloured card onto the blue/green background paper on the base card.    Using a black ink pad, stamp the sentiment 'sending love your way' to the centre bottom of the stamped background, making sure there will still be enough room for the two triangles, to be fitted in each of the bottom corners.

Take some spare white card and using a Versamark embossing pad, stamp the triangle corner from the stamp set, 4 times and heat emboss, using a craft heat gun and emboss with blue embossing powder.

Trim around each of the triangles and cut out the small triangle from the centre of each one.

Glue the triangles one in each corner of the base card using tacky glue.

Stamp the Zinnia stamp 3 times onto some spare white card using a  black ink pad  and colour the petals of each flower with the fired  brick and wild honey and the centre with shabby shutters and the stamen around the centre with tumbled glass and weathered wood distress inks. adding some ink from the pads, onto a glass worktop, adding some water, then  painting the images with a paint brush.

Cut out and 3D the flower, using silicone glue to raise the petals a little to add a little dimension to the card.

Glue the flower to the centre of the base card using tacky glue.   Add a blue ribbon bow between the two top triangles.and the card is finished.

Below are a few more photos.

That's all from me for the moment.   Thank you for stopping by to read my blog, much appreciated.   Have a good week and I will be back quite soon.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.
