A Winter Scene,

Hi there Followers, friends and Visitors,

What a beautiful day it has been,  hope your day has been equally as  good.    Talking of sunshine and Summer, tonight  I'm now changing the subject  to snow, Winter and Christmas lol!!    yes I'm afraid I have a Christmas card to share with you all.   I made this card in August 2010 for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts.   The stamp I have used is an Imagination Craft's stamp, which I believe is no longer available but having said that,  you could use a similar stamp and get the same effect.   I have also used their interference blue and peach  mica powders.

Make a six and a quarter by six and a quarter card from  matt silver card.   Matt some pink card onto the silver, leaving a quarter inch border of silver showing.

Cut a piece of navy card cutting all four edges with  a  trimmer  and the victorian blade.   Put the navy card and the  Crafter' Workshop template through an embossing machine and emboss.   Take out of the machine, remove the template and rub over the card with a Versamark pad.   Dust over with the blue mica powder using a soft brush.

Place the vellum on the x-cut metal stencil and prick out the design.   Next stamp the 'snow globe'  onto another piece of vellum, using the Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.   Brush over with the blue and peach mica powders, gently emboss the snow from the back,  using an embossing tool and an embossing pad.

Cut around the snow globe and fix to the patterned vellum, then fix this to the navy blue card.   Glue the navy card to the pink card.   Add a silver bow to the bottom left of the snow globe.

That's it my friends, all finished.   Lots of rain forecast for tomorrow,  hope the weather is not too awful for you.   Many thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and if you have left me a comment, thank you again.    Until my next post, take care of yourselves.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                 Big Hugs,  Jennifer xx.
