Clematis Flowers.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

How are you all?  well I hope, if not hope you feel better soon.   It has been quite a nice day here today, weather wise.     I have managed to spend some time in my craft room, making cards for my friends Mac Millan Nurses coffee morning, a very worthy charity.   I will in the next few weeks, show you the cards I have made for her.   Well,  now onto tonight's card.   I made this for Sue  Harvey of Imagination Crafts in February this year for one of their shows on  Hochanda  TV.

This is the card we will be making, hope you like it, just for once I have not used any Sparkle Medium lol!!!  but I have used some Starlight paint, both brilliant products!

Fold a piece of A4 cream linen card in half landscape style.   Paint a small piece of white card with the red Starlight paint and when dry, die-cut four corners, using  the Tattered Lace corner die and glue one in each corner of the base card.

Die-cut two flowers using the Spellbinder's die from black card and cut each one in half.   Glue these to the centre top and bottom and to the left and right edges of the base card.

Take a piece of cream card and lay the 'Jute' stencil on top and dab the Victorian velvet, Festive Berries and Fired Brick distress inks through the design,  using a piece of cut'n'dry foam.   Remove the stencil and rub a small amount of the Hickory smoke distress ink over the design to tone down the cream card a little.   Add some Inca Gold wax to the design.

Using a black inkpad, stamp the script over the card.   Ink up the clematis stamp and stamp on top of the background you have just created,  again using a black ink pad.   Trim around the image, then matt onto a piece of shiny black card.

Colour a piece of white card with the Inca Gold Alchemy wax (only colour the outer edges as the rest will  not be seen.)   Matt the Clematis image onto the gold edged card.   Matt this onto some red and then black card, each time leaving a small border showing.   Matt this onto the base card.

Die-cut two small flowers using the Spellbinder's die and colour them with the red Starlight paint.   Add some platinum Detail Sparkle to the flower centres, then glue one to the left of the clematis image and the other to the right,

The card is now finished, you will of course want to finish it off with a nice insert and maybe decorate the envelope a little.   That's all from me tonight my friends,  catch you all again soon.   Hope you all have a relaxing, peaceful Sunday.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                              Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
