Festive Christmas Tree card.

Good evening Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Hoping your weekend has been good so far.   We have had wall to wall sunshine today but a little cooler than it has been recently, I'm pleased to say, I really don't like the humidity.   Having said previously that I have not seen many butterflies, I went out and there on our Buddliha  bush there were 8 Red Admirals, 1 cabbage white and 1 peacock butterflies lol!!   we used to see very pretty ice blue butterflies but haven't seen one for a few years now! which is disturbing.

I just thought I'd slip in another post, showing a card I made for Imagination Crafts in October 2013.   For this card I have used their 'Festive Tree' stencil and Sparkle Mediums.

Make a base card from a piece of A4  white card, folded in half  portrait style.   Matt a piece of purple paper onto the base card, leaving a small border of the white showing.

Take the green patterned paper and lay the tree stencil onto it, and spread the Sparkle Mediums over it.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   Matt this onto a piece of white card, leaving a narrow border showing, then onto the base card.

Add a cream organza ribbon bow to the base of the tree.

Cut a strip of patterned green paper and glue to the bottom of the card approximately half an inch from the bottom.

Using a die-cutting machine and  the Memory Box border die, cut out the border from white card.   Glue this to the patterned green strip of paper.   Die-cut another border and cover it with the Sparkle Mediums.

Glue the Sparkle Mediumed border on top of the white border, off-setting it slightly.    That is this card finished.     Thank you for visiting my blog, hope you have found some inspiration.   Catch you all again very soon.   Have a relaxing Sunday.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                              Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
