Cherish Every Day.

Hello Lovelies,

Hope you've all had a good day, no rain here today but quite breezy.   Where has the summer gone I wonder.   Tonight I would like to share another card which I have made for my friend Jane's Macmillan Nurses charity coffee morning in September.   The stamp I have used for this card just really appealed to me and it just magically, jumped into my shopping basket, along with a few other items lol!   The image is just so different from my usual and looked so fresh and modern.  This is a Woodware stamp set.

Take a piece of A4 white card and trim half an inch off one of the long edges.   Fold the card in half to make a portrait style base card.

Matt a rectangle of green card onto the white base card, then a piece of yellow card,  leaving a narrow border of the green showing.

Take some white card and stamp the 'wiggly stems' onto it, using a black ink pad,  I used a Versafine pad or you could use a Stazon pad, so when watercolours are used, the ink does not 'bleed.'   Colour the image with some pearly watercolour paints and a small paint brush.

Stamp 'cherish every day' in the top left-hand corner, using a black ink pad.

When this is dry, matt it onto a piece of green card, again leaving leaving a small border of green showing.   Matt this onto the yellow card, placing on an angle to add a little interest.

Glue a 'nail head' decoration in each corner of the yellow card.

Glue a green satin ribbon bow to the bottom left of the yellow card.

Stamp some of the flowers again onto white card, colour, cut out and glue to the original image, using silicone glue.

That's all from me for the moment, have a great weekend.   I'll see you soon.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

Crafty Hugs to you all,  Hugs   Jennifer xx.
