Snowflake Christmas Trees.

Hi there Lovelies,

Sorry I'm a little later than I intended to be with this post, don't know where the time has gone.   Mondays seem to be coming around quicker than ever,  please stop the world, I want to get off  lol!   just for a little while ha! ha!      I swear, the older we get, the faster they seem to go!    Well, enough of that, let's get onto tonight's card.   I made this for Imagination Craft's ODS shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel at the end of June 2018.   I was asked to use their gorgeous snowflakes stamps, so I wondered just what else I could do with them, other than making a background with them.   Hope you like what I came up with.    Before I begin, I would like to welcome my newest follower, Diane.   Thanks for following me and I hope you enjoy your visits.

Matt a square of black card onto the 7" x 7" white  base card, leaving a border of the white showing.
Cut a  slightly smaller square of white card and paint with the Lavender   Blue and Ashy Rose Fabric acrylic paints using a little water.   (These paints can be used on many surfaces and are not only for fabric painting.)   Colour two thirds of the card, leaving the bottom third white.

Add a thin coat of watered down Dried Rose Starlight paint across the sky.   Lay the  Stars stencil - no. MU-12 over the sky and spread the Sugar Mouse Sparkle Medium over the stars, using a metal spatula.

Tear some strips of white card along the top edges, wide enough to cover the bottom of the white/coloured card.   Add a small amount of Crystal Ice Sparkle Medium along the torn edges, then
glue to the white base card, along the bottom and side edges only.

Take some white card and die-cut  1 large,  1 medium and 2 small triangles.   Using the snowflakes stamp set, stamp different snowflakes over the four triangle Christmas trees using a black in pad.      Colour parts of the images with the Dried Rose Starlight paint.

Back each triangle with a slightly larger triangle, painting the edges with the Dried Rose paint.   Glue these triangles to the front of the base card, tucking three of them behind the torn edges of the card (snow drifts),  using silicone glue behind each tree.

Stamp 'Happy Christmas' in the bottom left corner.

Stamp 'Let it snow....'  onto some white card, trim to size and matt onto a slightly larger piece of black card, then glue it to the top right of the card using silicone glue.

Spread some Sugar Mouse Sparkle Medium over the two largest stars on the stencil onto some white card.   When this is dry, cut out each one and glue to the base card.

Well that is this card finished.    Thank you for stopping by my blog,  I appreciate the time it takes to read and comment on  my posts and I do love to read your comments, thank you so much.   I also like to read your posts  and I do try to reciprocate by commenting on your posts too.   Have a good week and I will be back soon with another project.

                                                                    Love and rainbows,

                                                                     Hugs   Jennifer xx.
