Good evening Lovelies,
Hope everyone is safe and snug during this snowy, icy cold spell, we did our food shopping earlier this week just in case we get snowed in again but we are ok here, just a covering of snow, thank goodness! Gosh! just can't believe the low temperatures in parts of the U.S.A !!!!
Well onto tonight's project....a tag I made for a charity event for a friend a couple of years ago. I did make a very similar tag some time ago and that is on my blog, using a different flower stamp and a different colour but I think I prefer this particular flower design by Stampendous.
Make a large tag shape from white card. (or use a tag die.) Cut an rectangle of black card to fit the large tag, leaving a narrow border around three sides and a larger border at the top.
Lay the Imagination Craft's 'sunburst' stencil onto the black card and spread the silver Sparkle Medium over the design, using a metal spatula. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
Stamp the 'frilly flower' onto some white card, using a Versamark pad, then heat emboss with black embossing powder.
Colour the flower with the canary yellow and pink sorbet Starlight paints, add some glue to the centre of the flower and cover with the crushed black glass glitter.
Glue the black and silver sunburst rectangle to the large white tag. Add three small black gems to the top left.
Glue the flower to the sunburst and add some silicone glue under each petal.
Stamp 'Happy Birthday' onto a small piece of white card, using a black inkpad. Trim to size and glue to the tag, just below the flowers.
Colour some cream satin ribbon with the two Starlight paints, then thread through the hole in the top of the tag.
Make a stand from white card and glue to the back of the tag so it can be stood up, if required.
That's all from me for the moment. Thank you all for your lovely comments and visits to my last blog post, much appreciated, I do love to hear what you think, good or bad lol! hopefully more good than bad haha! Stay safe, warm and take care when going out for those hazardous icy patches on pavements and roads. Hopefully Spring is just around the corner.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.

'Gone Fishing.'
Good afternoon Friends Followers and Visitors,
Hope this post finds you all well and back into the routines of life after the Christmas/New Year holidays. I have to say, they do seem like a very long time ago lol!
Apologies for not blogging for a while, other things to see to, anyway I've managed to squeeze this blog into today's schedule lol! My card this afternoon may remind us all of the coming Spring/Summer weather when it arrives, hopefully not too long away!
Make a square base card from white cardstock. Matt a smaller piece of green card onto the base card.
Cut a smaller piece of white card and stamp the image and sentiments onto it, using a black inkpad.
Matt this onto the green matt on the base card. Stamp the wooden sign onto a spare piece of white card, again using a black inkpad and colour this brown, using ' Pumice Stone' Distress ink pad and glue it to the bottom left of the card
Colour the main image using 'mowed lawn' 'Pumice stone' and 'Ripe persimmon' Distress inks, water and a paintbrush.
Stamp 'I Love Fish' onto a small piece of white card in black ink and colour around the outside edge with the Pumice stone D.I. and cut out.
Glue this to the left of the bear. Add an insert to the centre of the card and it is finished. This is a quick card to make and would be ideal for someone who loves fishing, young or older lol! The stamp, I have had in my stash for some time and is a Daisy & Dandelion stamp set. Hope you like it.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and visits, they are always appreciated by me. Take good care of yourselves and I will hopefully be back again soon.

Just Buzzing Around.
Hi there Friends, Followers and Visitors,
Hope this post finds you all well but if you are feeling under the weather, I do hope my happy little bees will cheer you up. This is one of the stamps I came across whilst tidying my stamp boxes. This is a very old wooden stamp and I just love these little fellas lol! aren't they cute. Sorry I cannot tell you the make of this stamp, as the name has worn off (through being used so often lol!). The 'Bee Happy' sentiment and flower stamps came free with a craft magazine some time ago. The background was done using distress inks and Imagination Craft's 'Honeycomb' stencil and 'Rich gold' Starlight paint.
Before we begin, I would like to welcome my latest Follower Ayoti Mittra, I do hope this is correct as I have lost track a little....so apologies if I have got this wrong, anyway, thank you for following my blog, much appreciated. O.k let's get started, enough chit chat, let's get on with the card lol.
Make a square white base card and matt a smaller square of black card onto it. Take a smaller square of white card and colour it with the weathered wood Distress ink.
Lay the Imagination Craft's 'Honeycomb' stencil onto the coloured card and rub some 'Spiced marmalade' Distress Oxide through the design using a blending tool or a piece of cut 'n' dry foam. Remove the stencil.
Stamp the bees across the centre of the card, using a black inkpad. Fix this card to the base card.
Stamp the bees once again onto a spare piece of white card and colour with the Marvey le' Plume pens.
Cut the bees out and 3D them onto the original stamped image, using silicone glue.
Stamp 'Bee Happy' on the bottom of the coloured card, using a black inkpad.
Stamp three flowers onto some spare white card, again using a black inkpad and colour with the pens.
Cut out and glue one on the top centre and the other two, either side of 'Bee Happy.'
Add some Stickles Copper glitter glue to the centre of each flower.
Add some watered down Rich Gold Starlight paint to the wings, feelers, noses and bodies of the bees. (don't have the paint too thick, or you will obliterate the stamped image).
Well, that's this happy little card finished, I do hope these little fellas bring a smile to your faces, I know they do me lol! Take care of yourselves until my next blog. Happy crafting. Thank you all for your comments and visits.

Art Deco Sally.
Hope this post finds you all well and you are back into the routines of life lol! I do enjoy all the festivities but I have to say....'it is nice to get back into routine lol' Today we have quite a nice day, with a little sunshine but it is very cold! mustn't grumble it could be a great deal worse lol! like last year when the 'beast from the east' visited us and snowed us in for a couple of weeks! Ah well back to the here and now lol!
I have had a good play with my older 'cute' stamps, so I think it is time to get back to my other favourite subject...Art Deco. For this card I have used Imagination Craft's beautiful 'Art Deco Sally' stencil. I just love her, she is so elegant. I have also used the 'Scalloped Shell' ' Art Deco Lady' and 'Daisy Flourish' stencils, along with the fabulous Sparkle Mediums. These can be purchased from http://crafterscompanion.co.uk/brands/imagination-crafts.html
Open up your 7" x 7" white base card and lay the scalloped shell stencil onto what will be the inside of the card. Spread the Seedless Preserves and Mowed Lawn distress inks through the design, using a blending tool or cut 'n' dry foam but not going right up to the edges of the stencil but blending the colours out, leaving some white card showing.
Next, lay the Sally stencil onto it, centralising Sally and cover the stencil with the Hunter Green Sparkle Medium, using a metal spatula. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
In the meantime, lay the Sally stencil onto some spare white card and spread the Lavender Sparkle Medium over her hat, feathers, gloves, shoe and the sash around her hips. Remove stencil and leave this to dry.
Cut these parts out and glue in position on the original image of Sally, using Magi-bond glue (a good strong glue).
This is the inside of the card finished, now for the front of the card.
Open up the card again so the back and front of the card faces you. Lay the Daisy Flourish border stencil onto the front of the card and blend the two distress inks through the design.
Using the other Art Deco Lady stencil, lay the corner design from this stencil onto each corner of the base card and spread the lavender Sparkle Medium through the corner design. Leave these to dry.
Hand-cut an aperture to a shape which pleases you and also shows most of Sally through it.
Edge the aperture with green Sparkle Medium and leave to dry..
Add some distress inks to the outer edge of the base card and a little around the edge of the aperture.
Lastly, glue a green organza/gold satin ribbon bow to the bottom left of the aperture.
The card is now finished. This does take quite a bit of time to make but I do hope you think it is worth it. That's all from me for the moment. Catch you all again very soon.
Love and Rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.

'Best Friends Forever.'
Good evening All,
May I wish you A Very Happy, Healthy and fun filled New Year. Hope you've enjoyed all the
celebrations. Let us hope 2019 will be a good year for everyone.
Well here is my first card of 2019. As you may already know, I have had a good sort out of my stamps and came across this particular stamp, so I just had to use it again. I have had this for many years and it was designed by Sarah Kay, such a sweet image I think. I'm loving playing with these cute stamps once again,
Begin by making a square base card from white cardstock. Take a smaller square of brown card, matt and layer two different patterned papers onto it, leaving a tiny border of brown showing, (I used 'Country Life' papers by Dovecraft which were given free with a craft magazine some time ago). Wrap a piece of blue ribbon around the centre of this card and secure on the back of the card. Matt and layer this onto the white base card.
Die-cut two corners using the Die-namites die, from brown card. Die-cut a label from white card using the largest die from the Spellbinder's Label 4 set.
Stamp the image onto the white label die-cut, using a black ink pad, then colour with the Marvy le' Plume watercolour pens, adding a little grey shadow under their feet to 'ground' them.
Glue the corner dies to the back of the label, leaving a few of the scrolls on the top of the label. Glue the label and corners to the base card.
Glue two gold hearts to the label die-cut. Glue a blue ribbon bow to the left-hand edge of the ribbon strip..
All that remains to be done, is add an insert and the card is finished.
Well that's me for the moment. Thank you all for visiting my blog and many thanks to those of you who very kindly leave me comments. I do appreciate the time it takes to read and comment on my blog. Take care of yourselves and enjoy what is left of this week. I will be back again soon.
