'Catch Your Dreams, they Can Come True,'

Hi there Everyone,

Thank you so much for your comments and visits on my last blog post, I do appreciate each and every one.   There is definitely a touch of Autumn in the air  here in the hills.   The berries are turning red on the Rowan trees and the beech nuts are dropping from the trees, or it is the red squirrels knocking them off lol!   a sure sign of Autumn.

When I purchased a Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine - Issue 190 recently giving a free stamp and die set, I knew I just had to get cracking and make a card using them.    Really enjoyed using these, so I hope you like what I have done with them.

Matt a slightly larger square of black card onto a 7" x 7" white base card.     Cut a smaller square of white card and colour it with the Distress Inks - Faded jeans, Fired brick, Chipped sapphire,  Seedless Preserves  and   Distress Oxide - Spiced marmalade.      Add some Hickory smoke around all four edges.

Stamp the corner flourish in all four corners of the now coloured card , using a black inkpad.

Stamp the long border four times  between the four corner flourishes again, using black ink.

Add some clouds and birds by adding Hickory smoke through the  'make a scene' stencil by Imagination Craft.

Stamp 'Dreams........' about one third of the way down the card, using black ink.

Die-cut one dream catcher from white card and one from black card.   Glue the black on top of the white dream catcher, off - setting them slightly.

Stamp a small section of the long border stamp from the top of the card and another piece where the bottom of the dream catcher will come to, again in black ink.

Glue the dream catcher between both short  borders, using silicone glue.

Colour some white card with Faded jeans D.I. and die - cut seven feathers from it and two feathers from white card.

Glue the feathers together and then glue them onto the bottom of the dream catcher.

Punch a small heart from white card and add some platinum Stickles Glitter Glue to it.   Add this to the top of the centre bunch of feathers.

Add dots of the platinum glitter glue to the centre and around the centre of the dream catcher.     Add tiny dots of the glitter glue to the four long borders.

Matt this card onto the black matt on the base card and the card is finished.

Well, that's all from me for the moment my friends,   take care of yourselves, keep safe and snug during this cold wet  spell of weather and I'll be back again soon.   Thanks for popping in to read my blog, appreciate each and everyone of you.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.
