'Time For a Little Elegance.'

Hello Lovelies,

Thank you for all your comments and visits to my last blog post, very much appreciated.   Hope you are all safe and well.

I'm back with another card to share with you.   This card was made for Imagination Craft's T.V. show on the Create & Craft Channel earlier this year.   The stencil and rice paper are from Imagination Craft's Serene Chic Collection,   some Sparkle & Twinkle,  Cadence White Relief paste, Acrylic paints and Finger waxes.   The leaf, stamen and flower dies were from my own craft stash.

Tear off a portion of the rice paper by wetting around the desired part of your choice, using a paint brush and water, then gently pull apart.

Using the Cadence Fabric decoupage glue, fix this to the top left side of a piece of white card measuring six and three quarters square.   Fix a smaller piece to the bottom right corner too.

Mix a small amount of the Cadence mild blue and Iris acrylic paints together and paint the rest of the white card left  showing between the rice papers.

Blend the paint over the edge of the rice paper, which makes the torn edge less obvious.

Using the A4 stencil, mask off the key using masking tape.   Lay the fancy edged round border from the stencil over the top  right corner, then spread the white relief paste through the design, using a metal spatula.

When the relief paste is dry, gently rub some white gold finger wax over the surface.

When dry lay the text part of the stencil across the bottom of this card and stipple some white gold finger wax through the design on the stencil, using a stencil brush.

Remove the stencil and leave the text to dry.

Die-cut some flowers  enough to make 4  flowers.  ( I used dies I already have in my craft stash) from white linen card and paint them with the white gold finger wax, adding some watered down Malahit to the centre of each petal.

      .
Die-cut some stamen and paint with the Malahit.   Punch out 4 leaf stems, using the Martha Stewart punch and paint with the Malahit.

Glue the flower parts together for three of the flowers and glue to the right-hand side of the relief paste circle, adding a small white punched circle to the flower centres.   Matt and layer this card onto a 7" x 7"  white base card.

Glue the last flower together and glue just below the bird, as though it were standing on the flower.

Glue the leaf stems in position.   Colour a small piece of white card with the amethyst Sparkle & Twinkle, using a metal spatula and when dry, punch out 11 small circles from it.   Glue these to the card randomly.

Well that's all from me for the moment my friends.   Take care of yourselves and stay safe and well.   Thank you once again for visiting my blog and staying with me till the end....I know lol! another long tutorial !!   not much text to read though !!!    Catch you all again soon.

                                                                          Love and rainbows,

                                                                           Hugs   Jennifer xx.
