'Butterfly Dreams.' A Sneaky Peek.

Good morning Lovelies,

Not such a good day here today but we have something to look forward to.....our Mandy demonstrating  on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel at 12pm. and 12.45pm. today,  on just what can be achieved using the gorgeous Imagination Craft's latest Vol. 4 USB  rice papers.

Thank you all for your visits and lovely comments on my last post, much appreciated as always.   Now onto one of my cards, made for today's show,   hope you like this one,  I have loved working with these beautiful papers, such pretty designs and beautiful colours.

Cut out the section of rice paper with the butterflies on and glue to a square of white card, using the Cadence Decoupage glue, bending the extra rice paper to the back of the card and securing with the glue.

When this is dry, stamp the small dragonfly in the top right corner using a watermark Versamark pad and heat emboss using some purple embossing powder.   This image is from Imagination Craft's 'Destiny' collection.

Stamp the lady in the dotted semi circle ( also from the 'Destiny' Collection) on top of the Hydrangea on the left of the design,  with a versamark pad and heat emboss with the purple embossing powder.

Stamp the sentiment ( also from the beautiful  'Destiny' collection) on the bottom right of the design, again using the Versamark pad and heat embossing with the purple powder.

Matt and layer this card onto a slightly larger square of teal coloured card.

Next matt and layer this onto an 8" x 8" ivory base card.

From the second sheet of rice paper of the same design, roughly cut out the two butterflies and two of the flower heads from the Hydrangea, near the bottom of the design.   Glue these to some spare white card, using the decoupage glue.   When dry, cut them out, trimming away any excess white card.

Glue these to the original images on the base card using silicone glue to give them a little dimension and the card is finished.

Below is a photograph, taken at an angle to show the dimension of the butterflies and flower heads.

Thank ou all for stopping by my blog, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit.   Please pop back again quite soon, as I will be sharing more cards from this collection.

Take care of yourselves and stay safe.   Will catch you all again soon.

                                                                  Love & Rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.
