'Family Frolics.'

Good Evening Lovelies,

Hope you are all well, despite the wet, windy weather we are having at the moment.   Today I would like to share another of my cards, made for the Imagination Craft's show in February earlier this year .   This is made using the gorgeous rice papers from the 'Into the Wild Collection, Sparkle & Twinkle, Stencils and of course some Cadence  Acrylic paints and Decoupage Glue.   This design is just so cute and the baby Koala is just adorable, hope you like it too.

Begin by painting the front of the 8"x8" ivory base card with the Cadence New Mocca acrylic paint.

Whilst this is drying cut out the eucalyptus and the mother and baby Koala bears from the first sheet of rice paper and glue to some spare white card, using the decoupage glue and leave to dry.

Next make the leaves using the A4 stencil, the light sage and the clover green acrylic paints.     Stipple the green paints through the leaf design  onto some white card  Remove the stencil and colour any white areas with the paints.     Make three of these and cut them out.   Cut out the eucalyptus leaf and the Koala bears too, trimming away any excess white card.

Matt a piece of cream card six and three quarter inches x five and a half inches onto a slightly larger piece of dark brown card and matt this onto the base card, near to the right-hand edge.

Lay the wavy design from the stencil onto the right-hand side of the cream matt, securing with the blue low tack tape and  to protect the rest of the card (accidents do happen lol!).   Spread the copper Sparkle and Twinkle over the design using a metal spatula.   Remove the tape and stencil and leave the image to dry.   Put this to one side for the moment.

Take a piece of white card four and three quarter inches x six inches .   Cut out the section of rice paper with the Koala bears on, from the second sheet of rice paper, slightly larger than the piece of white card.   Fix this to the white card using decoupage glue, bending the excess rice paper to the back of the white card and securing with the glue.   Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of dark brown card, then glue this to the base card.    Fix the cut out Koala bears onto the original image using silicone glue.

Lay the stencil with the words 'wild' and 'free' on the bottom left of the Koala bears rectangle, again securing with masking tape, then spread the copper Sparkle & Twinkle over the words, using a metal spatula.   Remove tape and stencil and leave to dry.

Glue the eucalyptus leaf stem to the card front using silicone glue..

Lay the pots stencil onto some spare cream card and spread the copper Sparkle & Twinkle over them using a metal spatula.   Remove stencil and leave images to dry, then cut them out.

Glue the large leaves and the pots to the bottom right of the base card, using silicone glue

Below is a photo taken at and angle to show the dimension of the card.    Thank you for all your comments and visits to my last blog post.   Please pop back soon.

Take care and stay safe everyone.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs   Jennifer xx.
