'A Little Bit of Sparkle for a Special Day.'

 Hello Everyone,

Hoping you are all enjoying this gorgeous summer weather, the plants are definitely liking it, they're blooming away beautifully but so are the weeds unfortunately lol!   Tonight I would like to share another of my cards made in July 2020 for a T.V.show for Imagination Craft's.      I have used  their Carnation Panel Stencil from the 'Tumbling Blossoms' stencil set and some Sparkle & Twinkle.

Matt and layer a piece of light green card  onto an 8" x 8" ivory base card, cut approximately a quarter of an inch smaller than the base card.

Lay the carnation panel stencil onto a piece of pink pearl card.   Using a metal spatula, spread the gold Sparkle & Twinkle through the flower heads only, on the stencil.   Spread the sage green Sparkle &  Twinkle  through the leaves and stem of the flowers.   Trim this to fit on the left-hand side of the green matt.  

Take another piece of pink card and stamp the sentiment onto it, using a black ink pad - 'May your....'

 Take another  piece of the pink card  and lay the smaller  carnation head from the stencil onto it, then spread the gold  S & T  over the flower head and the green over the leaves and stem.   Put these to one side for the moment.

Next, lay the tumbling leaves panel stencil down the green matt, adding some white paper each side of the stencil, so no S & T goes onto the rest of the card, .then spread the sage green Sparkle & Twinkle over the stencil using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and and paper then leave the image to dry.

Now to put the card together.

Glue the larger flower panel down the left-hand edge of the green matt and the sentiment and smaller flower head, down the right-hand side, making sure the top and bottom edges all line up.

Glue a wine coloured organza ribbon bow between the two smaller panels.
