Chariot of Fire.

 Good evening Lovelies,

hope you have enjoyed yet another glorious sunny day, a little too hot for me lol!   I do hope you were able to tune in to Create & Craft  at lunchtime yet another fabulous collection from Imagination Crafts - 'Warrior Women,'   plus some great new products from Cadence, launched by our lovely Mandy.

Tonight I would like to share one of my cards made for the show.   Hope you like it.

Cut a piece of white card 8" x 8" that will fit onto the front face of an 8" x 8" white base card.   Paint this with the Cadence Antique white Hybrid acrylic paint.

Mix some Delano and Antique white acrylic paints together and using a stencil brush, dab this on top of the Antique white and leave to dry.   This gives my card a look of marble, well that was the intention lol!

Lay the text from the stencil onto the painted card at the top of the card in the centre and secure with low tack tape.   Using a piece of foam , dab some Versafine black ink through the design.

Repeat this on the bottom left and again on the bottom right.

Add some black ink to the top left and right by  laying a piece of spare paper onto the card and rubbing the ink from the paper onto the painted card, blending the ink out as you go.   Repeat this on the bottom of the card in the centre.

Cut a piece of black card to fit across the painted card and lay the horses and the chariot from the stencil onto this black card.   Using a metal spatula, spread the' Cadence Texture Relief paste - Thin,' over the horses and chariot.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   When dry, lay the text from the stencil onto the top right corner of the black card and using the metal spatula, spread the' Cadence Dora gold Relief paste'  over it.   Remove the stencil and leave image to dry.

Fix this across the centre of the painted card, then fix this to the white 8" x 8" base card.

Lay the dagger and sword designs from the stencil onto some spare black card and spread the Dora Perla gold relief paste through the designs.   Remove the stencil and leave them to dry.   Repeat this twice more, so you have 3 daggers and 3 swords.

Cut these out and glue them to the front of the base card.

Well that's this card finished.   I will be back with another card, made using this fabulous collection.    In the meantime, stay safe and  happy crafting.   Catch you all again soon

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.
