Hi there Lovelies,
A big change in the weather lol! but the gardens definitely needed that rain as they were very dry. Thank you all for your visits and lovely comments as always. I appreciate each visit and comment.
Today I would like to share another card made using the products from Imagination Craft's 'Warrior Women' collection, along with some Cadence products too and was made for Imagination's show on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel earlier this month.
Take a piece of white card cut slightly smaller than the 8"x 8" white base card you will be using. Cut out the section of the rice paper with the woman and her animals on, cutting it slightly larger than the piece of white card you have just cut.
Cover the piece of white card with the rice paper, using the Cadence decoupage glue, bending the extra paper to the back of the card and securing with the glue.
Lay the moon image from the stencil onto a small piece of black card and using a metal spatula, spread the platinum relief paste through the design. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
When dry, cut out the moon leaving a tiny border of black card around it. Lay the text from the stencil onto the left side of the rice paper and using a spatula, spread the platinum relief paste through the design. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
Using a black Versafine ink pad, stamp the woman and animals onto some spare white card four times and heat emboss with clear powder.
Cut them out and 3D the characters using silicone glue.
Glue the characters to the right-hand side of the rice paper using silicone glue or sticky foam pads. Glue the moon image to the top left of the centre.
Fix the rice paper to an 8" x 8" white card and the card is finished.
The photo below is taken at an angle to show the dimension of the card.
Well, that is all from me for the moment but I will be back fairly soon with yet another card, made using this collection. Take care my friends, stay safe and happy crafting.
Love and rainbows,.
Hugs Jennifer xx.
