Hope you are looking forward to the weekend, whatever you have planned. Thank you for
your comments and visits on my last blog post, very much appreciated.
Today I would like to share a card with you that I made for Imagination Crafts in March 2010. Wow! 10 years ago, yet I can remember clearly making it, seems like only yesterday lol! The stamped image is a Tina Wenke stamp and is so cute I think, must get it out again. Apologies for the lack of
stage photos but back in 2010 I didn't take stage photographs.
Remove the stencil and whilst the ink is still wet, brush over with some mica powders; Cut some 'slits' in the pattern using a craft knife and thread some lavender/gold edged ribbon through them.
Matt this onto a white six and a half inch square base card, leaving a quarter inch border of the white showing.
Cut a piece of card three and a half inches square and stamp the cupcake mouse onto it using a black ink pad. Stamp this stamp a further three times onto some spare white card and colour using Imagination Craft's Inkadinks and water. Cut out and 3D onto the original stamped full image using silicone glue.
Glue some ribbon to the back of the cupcake image, around all four edges, making sure a little of the ribbon protrudes beyond the edge of the card, so it can be seen from the front of the image.
Add some Ice Stickles - 'Coffee Ice' to the cherries on the cupcake.
Finally glue a ribbon bow centrally, just below the image and the card is finished.
Take care of yourselves and have a good weekend. Happy crafting and I'll be back again soon.
Love and Rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
